what about the yokohama blue earth es323? have had any experience with those?
in the market for new set of tyres (all 4) as well. been thinking either toyo nano 3 or yokohama blue earth. The difference were the toyo is made in perak, while the yoko made in japan. 185/60/15 size.
yoko is cheaper by rm5 per piece.
Experienced their first line up product of bluearth series, AE01. Got the dolphin pattern on the thread one. Comfort and silent tyre, but not really can run down the mileage, not even reach 40k then I have to change new set tyre already.

Oh wow how you guys get better FC / mileage?
Is it the factor of fuel use and distance?
once in a while I'm a heavy footer, and so far I been driving my cars 4-5 times per week.
The green colour is when I went back my hometown at Melaka.

Familiarize your foot with CVT drive train, accelerate your car follow the engine linear power, don't give it a sudden accelerate, and this of course will not save fuel.
I am melaka people too, but staying in KL, go and forth hometown every 3 weeks interval. Avg FC stays at 15km+- with the mixture driving in city and highway.

wow, FC is so poor for new car. My 11 year old Myvi got similar numbers, averaged at 12km/litre city drive. I thought new Vios should be getting at least 15km/ltr city drive.
May i know after running for how many KM, the FC will become normal?
I think its normally after the first engine oil change of the new car. It depends also on what EO spec u used, like *w-40, 30, 20?
With visco number getting larger, the engine also need higher load to cutting through the oil, and vice versa. Higher load will affect FC but not so noticeable.

For City or town roads, many traffic lights stop, I m getting 14. 2 km per liter and I m heavy footer too on 100% town road, no highway, AMJ or federal express way.. If highway, can reach and get 620km..
Per my previous experience on previous old Saga, spouse Myvi cars, consulted foreman and Uncle Google. Many factors :- just list a few..
External :-
Inflated car tires air (angin)
Heavy or lite fuel footer
Wind blowing direction, swing
Road conditions
Tire tyres andthreads.. Which tires give ECO, but compromise safety?
Speed of car movement.
Internal :-
full synthetic oil 0 - 30w,
Genuine oil and air filters.
10k mileage pour in fuel additive..E.G Toyota OEM, Techron concentrate plus, Liqui moly.
Work with SC, to update to latest engine firmware.
Pour in RON 97.. This is definitely better mileage , but costly.
Spark plug??? Few of my friends agreed on this.
Since it's under warranty, continue service at SC.
