Care to share what was the bad news?

I think with the amount of aro XL supply to local hobbist bound to have some mistakes, not like other farm scores 100% result right? we're dealing with complicated live stock like arowana with too many color combination and you will only know the final result when they grow up.

For me the most important is they have this policy of replacing you if the aro doesnt turn out to what the cert says. This is the most important guarantee and XL is very serious with this policy. And so far I've only hear efficiency and integrity where they replace you.

Huh? I think you guys more experience in this...kekekeke

Anyway from what I was told last time when I first bought my aro, The first was a HBRTG and if it turn out to be anything lower grade than HBRTG then I'm allow to replace a new HBRTG of my choice, if the aro turn XB then I'm consider lucky (which I dont think it'll ever happen tongue.gif )

2nd Aro was the Red and same policy applies if the fish turn out to be anything lower quality than red then I'm allow to replace a red of the same price.

3rd aro, got fed up with the HBRTG then I traded in for a BBXB and again the same policy applies.

So far I've no problem with any aro from XL, infact I would say thier service is first class, and this remark is especially point toward Mr. rock tho he scold me everytime I mention his name in any forum biggrin.gif

Of the 3 aro I bought in XL, the HBRTG turn out just like any normal HBRTG, but I was not happy with the gold tone since everytime I see XB with solid gold tone (not XL fault)

The red so far so good, its turning deep orange now.

The BBXB was the most fantastic pc, turn out to be a real beauty sold off when someone offered me very high price.

And best of all this I never know anything about choosing young aro, all the 3 aro I ask Rock to choose for me, infact when I bought the red I never even see the actual fish, rock call me up and told me there is a beautiful red and ask if I'm interested. Then he says I wont regret it, so I say ok and booked the fish, went there and pay up when the fish is not even in XLSA. Then after paying only go buy tank tongue.gif

no la, its not like suddenly he ask me to buy aro then I buy...I already ask him to be on the look out for highend red, I told him I want almost guarantee the fish turn out red or at least deep orange, broadbody, spoonhead and of coz my fav long finnage. Rock told me almost impossible for this kinda red unless I import from indon which will end up 4x the amount of XL red. So I was put on standby lor.

But why I never bother to look at the fish is coz after dealing with Rock I felt comfortable that he is a guy of principle and he delivers what he promises. If he made mistakes in choosing the aro then I think I would fair much worse result myself.

actually for malaysia hobbist that want's to get the best from thier aro in m'sia should choose to buy XB, Golden head and BBXB. as m'sia water is more suitable to these type of aro.... as for red and RTG it is more to indon water, but Xian Leng RTG is quite good also...

I'm not really agree with you bro. The reason is, if you are consider we use natural river/lake water such as in Bagan Samak River (eg only biggrin.gif ) I will agree with you, since we all use direct water from tap so the quality cannot be same. tongue.gif Gold/Red will be okay as long as you try to maintain good water parameter, good food for the aro and also if the gene of the aro is excellent. thumbup.gif
