I think its always ON, when we drive we can feel that its not pull (FWD) or push (RWD), always all wheel together
Can even see / monitor the power to each wheel thru multi info meter display
*
CRV is using real time AWD. it will distribute the power to rear tyre only when needed to.

rs owner. need to get your feedback. when the refill petrol indicator is on, do you straight go refill or wait ? I remembered the car is 60 or 65 L tank. but i am sure that there is still about 6or 7 L worth of petrol left in the tank.
*
only once i allow the fuel indicator to light up , if not mistaken at that time the remaining distance stated 60km. i expecting the indicator will light up at 0KM remaining distance and im still able to drive appx 60km, or a bit more after that. however it behave differently. it light up at remaining distance 60km and because of no station, have to drive until it become remaining 5km only manage to refill.

normally i will refill when the fuel down to the last 3 bars, or the remaining distance less than 200km. dont want to mess with the petrol pump.

So in theory, you still got 10 L of petrol left and should give you approx 100 km instead of 80 km by the meter. So if the worst come to the worst, you still have 20km in reserve that is not showing. I reckon that is good.
*
the 20km assumption, we dont know when it will start to be consumed, it is right after the light on, or perhaps earlier? is the consumption similar as our normal drv since its almost at the last drop?

these questions scares me

lol....headache. just now went and pumped rm 50 fuel. it showed can go 491. plus before leftover  62 km so total can go 553 km. so it's hard to calculate FC for a full tank. anyway i am sure i will give  up upon this after the next few tanks. lol . anyway my FC for now is 17.9km/l. izzit bad? i drive fast by the way.
*
17.9km/l for heavy footer is quite good i say. easily can get average 700km or even more

QUOTE(Cavino @ Mar 28 2025, 04:23 PM)
You cannot compare City with CRV. City and Hrv using 1.5L Atkinson engine that is a bit underpowered vs CRV and Civic 2.0 litre engine. City and HRV engine vibrate noticeably during idling while Civic and CRV has a very MUCH muted vibration. If one thinks CRV vibration is noticeable, then City and HRV is loud in comparison.

Initially when engine restarted during idling, sort of wake me up a bit....but nowadays numb liao, feel the vibration and noise during engine restart while idle but somehow immune to it thus not so noticeable to me. When car moving, not noticeable. There is no CVT vibration thus overall vibration is so much less than petrol version even with engine running.

Tried CRV, also same except the idle engine noise and vibration is like heaven and earth during idle when compare with City and HRV. There is still slight engine vibration but no more than usual engine vibration of petrol version. Again lack of CVT vibration is noticeable for eHev. You really have to compare side by side then only notice that vibration difference between engine running CVT and engine running eHev.

For City the best seating to feel vibration difference is at rear seat further from engine. I feel petrol version vibration all the time especially acceleration but eHev really don't feel the vibration at all during acceleration. That is what makes me jump to eHev when I tried them out. Just cannot afford Crv (I can say I can afford to save face.....hehehe but have to save more for retirement, so in reality cannot afford) thus downgrade....to City ehev, haha..
*
to my feeling, the 2.0 atkinson engine kick in feeling quite significant during idle.
however when driving didnt notice at all. only hear the engine sound.

i have good experience with Sri Utama Setapak and Autoworld Sg Buloh.
As much as possible, will try to avoid HZN glenmarie

Hi guys, Im thinking about taking the E spec, should I go with V or RS instead? Whats the noticable major differences between the E and V spec? Both RM100+- in ccm 😂
*
what is ur criteria of choosing a ride? budget/satisfaction/resale value?

IMHO:
if budget, go for E
if satisfaction, go for V or RS
if resale, go for V. i believe V have better resale value. RS will drop due to the hybrid battery.

Thanks. It does work.

With AA on cable, I can no longer listen to Youtube music on Bluetooth.

There is 1 problem. Once activated, it will automatically switched on the phone's Bluetooth every time you step into the car. And there is no way to de-activate the Bluetooth. And you can't listen to Bluetooth music. It becomes all about Android Auto.
*
have u try to change the source to BT?
anyway what u mean by BT music? so far, i can play my BT music, from my song folder in the phone with connected AA and BT is on.

no. solid as always. btw, any idea how to drive a hybrid car? it says got 335 nm combined but when you  suddenly floor the throttle, the car hardly will pick up speed.
*
seriously?? normal mode is already enuff for me to feel the torque. sport mode even give more juice.

havent tried sports mode yet. on normal mode. what i meant was sudden step on the throttle like overtaking or coming out of a junction. I dont feel  the pulling  feeling.
*
i guess its subjective. to me i can feel the pull immediately when i step on the accelerator, even in normal mode.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Apr 29 2025, 10:55 AM)
Unlike full EVs, Hybrid electric motor power delivery is not full instant torque as it is tune for efficiency over sportiness. Cannot compare with full EV with huge battery and full motor drive.

Honda tuned the acceleration to provide linear drive rather than explosive. Priority is on fuel economy so the throttle response is deliberately muted.
Full EV no need fuel economy, full electrical power, can floor as much as you like but even then, some eCVT of EV also deliberately controlled the throttle to ensure smooth and linear acceleration.

The funny thing is even in sport mode, the CR-V Hybrid focuses on engine noise simulation rather than true performance tuning. In the end, still first priority is fuel economy.
*
Never drive an EV before so i would not be able to comment much. However I'm quite agree with the linear drive statement compared to explosive. my view, the torque graph for EV will be steeper compared to hybrid.

other than that, i believe the instant response is still there. maybe the lag due to power to weight ratio as well.

anyway this just my opinion..

it has a soft sidewall..have to sacrifice the performance but when it come to comfort, will be better. my previous FC, i didnt regret switching from PS4 to P4.

No idea but CRV's air cond is the coldest compared to all my other cars
*
have to agree with that la. so far my setting temp is at 24 and the fan speed is at the 1st. very seldom have to increase the fan speed.
its just i wonder which will perform better between belt driven and electric.

Same, my 2024 RS also kena. Does anyone know if this is a quick job or if it needs longer time like steering rack recall maintenance? My steering rack job they had me leave the car overnight ranting.gif
*
need to leave ur car for one night. was informed that for CRV RS, some run-in is required. unlike the fuel pump for civic where u can just change the pump. had this chat with my SA during car service last saturday.

for the steering rack recall, i dont need leave the car. so i guess its back to the SC whether they have enuff staff and fast pace working environment or not.

Here’s a detailed comparison of the **Michelin Primacy SUV+** and the **Continental UltraContact UC7** to help you choose the right touring/SUV tire:

---

## 🏁 Performance

### **Wet Grip & Safety**

* **Primacy SUV+** shows superior wet braking (\~43.8 m vs 45.1 m) and better aquaplaning resistance (\~78.4 km/h vs 77.7 km/h) than UC6/UC7 equivalents ([toptirereview.com][1]).
* Consistently praised for excellent wet control, making it a top choice in rainy conditions.

### **Dry Handling & Braking**

* **UltraContact UC7** edges out Primacy in dry performance, with quicker braking and sharper handling: \~37.9 m stopping vs 40.3 m, and marginally faster slalom/braking times ([toptirereview.com][2], [toptirereview.com][1]).
* Felt “very predictable and potent” during test drives ([wapcar.my][3]).

---

## 🎧 Noise & Comfort

* **UC7** is quieter and more comfort-focused, scoring better in NVH tests (\~58.3 dB vs 58.8 dB) and comfort ratings (7.2/10 vs 6.6/10) ([toptirereview.com][1]).
* User reviews echo this:

> “my car is also using… UC6 SUV… very comfortable (ride became softer) and very quiet” ([reddit.com][4])
