For 2024 Honda Malaysia only delivered 3900++ unit of CRV all variance

During launching, they announce 5000 booking, meaning still got people booking since day one,, still didnt receives their car

This is data from data.gov.my as of 30 Apr 24

From the data we can assume that Melaka production line ABLE to produce up to 14k of CRV / year or 1200 / month, max on 2018,, during G5 first batch
At that year civic ketam is also in high demand, but they manage to delivered

For this year 4 months data is at 3900 car delivered, average 1000 car per month

Something happen somewhere, either parts shortage as per my SA told me in April or something else, because only RS affected

Based on the website, Honda delivered 8000 both City and HRV from Jan-Apr,, probabaly they concentrate all their source to that line, we dont know

Just bersabar my fellow forumer,, if cannot wait like my wife,, change variance or go other brand

I try to trade in my G5 to 6 to HM
Honda use carsome price as benchmark

If you are not in hurry, sell it yourself, use Mudah or other platform,, you will get better price, but will take time and a lot of lowballers
Or you can try luck thru carsome auction

Today i saw most CRV G6 on my way from work in Cyber back to KL
And most of it is RS
Since Im using G6, and know supply for Rs a bit low,, always on a look out on the road for the RS batch, black rim, and body color cladding, today I saw more than most than any other day, i think more than 5, normally not even 1, most is with AWD batch

I hope most of you here gotten yours or know estimated delivery date already

First thing that I did with my car is to change my speaker to a better one, tinted and PPF, this is all done in first few day

I pretty sure that speaker will void whatever warranty, but that risk I willing to take

Dont worry so much guys, I manage to claim few item from Honda previously, its just how we present our case and your luck

what color of your choice again??

no point changing branch / SA, if you choose highly sought color

my jiran, booked in April, will be gotten his in 2 weeks or 1st week of August, his initial color is Red or Blue, but settle for white

This is wise and reasonable choice,
Or you could go for new Harrier around RM280k, this is actually my first choice of SUV

I install it on my first week getting the car at setapak around RM600

For me, that running board is not me to step, its a guard from your car to your next car,, G6 is a big car
When other car park beside you, normally kids will open the door door without minding next car and slam their door to your car,,
That running board will protect it because its the most outher part of your car body,, will kena it first

I believe it almost look the same

80%-90% highway,, max can get around 600km, I think 700km is possible, if you drive it in relax mode
mixed 50/50 around 450km

mine is AWD variant

should ask the same question again mid of next year la bro

US already gotten their G6 since last year, they are in midlife facelift already in 2025
the best part is, if you watch YT review, their 2025 facelift is same like our current version here in Malaysia, especially if you look at front and rear bumper

Have not heard any major complaint accept the one that viral few months back on RS version at Honda OKR

on my car odometer, I'm getting average 12.5km/l on city road and 13.5km/l on hway
