The bose sounds system is a let down! full tank city drive of 93km yesterday and it shows can go further 681km. good or bad? saw like 13.1 FC.

13.1 is ok if you tekan like normal petrol car. For hybrid to get high efficiency you can try to use regenerative braking as much as possible. When coming to a stop, use the left (downshift) paddle three times and the car will slow down without you applying the brakes, as it’s converting your rolling kinetic energy into electrical energy stored in the battery.

If you really want to min-max, really use low pressure on the pedal to stay in electric mode for as much as possible but you’ll go very slow. Don’t use eco mode as it actually is less efficient overall according to Reddit, since it’s too slow it makes you consume more fuel ultimately. Just stay in normal mode.

My advice if you trying to get reasonable efficiency without resorting to driving like an old person is to keep an eye out on the left gauge. When you brake you’ll see it will first engage regen braking to recuperate electricity, but once you press the brake pedal past a certain point you’ll kinda feel the actual mechanical brakes engage. The idea is to get familiar with this threshold so you try to regen as much as possible. When going downhill I always use paddles or switch to B mode with max regen (use paddles), and I’ll have close to full battery to cruise with once I reach the foot of the hill.

One way to check if your car is doing the charging at max is using this..

user posted image

The screenshot is from Honda City but CRV has the same thing....I think.

While the power mode in the odomoter can show whether your engine is charging battery, engine direct powering the wheel, motor powering the wheel, etc. It does not show you how much it is charging at that time, it can be charging but at minimal charging only..

The screen shot with red circle is the one showing how efficient is your charging. When you are cruising or if you lift your foot off the pedal, it will likely go max at 50.

Sometimes when you tekan lightly when cruising it will go max 50 charging yet sometimes with the same pressure on the pedal, it goes down to min or below 25. That low charging is likely due to engine or kinetic charging needs more power to wheel thus little left for charging. Yet at times, they have more power than the wheel need, thus more goes to charging.

This indicator will goes up and down depending on your foot. I find it very useful coz whenever I see the slides goes low below 25, I lifted my foot more to let it recover back to charging at 50. Although at times, it is unavoidable, we have to either tekan or even if tekan lighty it still won't go up coz the wheel are consuming more energy to accelerate or power the car..

Trying to maintain that slide indicator at max 50 whenever possible is the key to max out charging and fuel efficiency.

Yeah we have the same thing, but generally I use the gauge when it dips into charging to know how efficient I'm braking biggrin.gif when going I just go by feel otherwise it's too distracting and restrictive IMO.

My best mileage when driving carefully...

Are you using the S range? If you are using S range, I think no wireless feature.

I’ve noticed that the Toyo tire seems to be quite loud, especially at higher speeds or on certain road surfaces. Any recommendation new tire option to improve cabin noise?
