Those who have driven the 2WD and AWD. Feel any difference in normal driving? I read with the AWD, need more care in changing tires

Yes, turbo have separate service. Service A and Service B. You’ll be heading to Honda service centre a bit frequent than non turbo. Probably your 6 months interval, in the middle of it you require to replace oil. Because Honda uses 0W-20 which is thin, require earlier oil change. Maybe Honda worries about infamous L15B7 “oil dilution” but normally happens in cold climate.
*
Oil change every 3 months for the turbo? That is too problematic.

Hi guys, really interested in the upcoming Crv. In general Crv is a good family SUV? How about it performance and reliability? Got a lot of problem?

For 2WD, you can swap front and rear tire to prolong usage before replacing all 4 tires together. While AWD works on all wheels, probably you are replacing all 4 tires at the same time since the front and rear almost have equal wear threads

It all boils down to how’s your driving pattern. The system will notify you when it’s the time to replace engine oil as there is sensor for it. If you’re frequent stop n go then the oil replacement is sooner. While if you’re on long distance trip, the oil replacement indicator predicts longer travel distance before oil change.

Thanks. That would probably means less than every 6 months? That would be too short. European cars tend to have much longer oil change interval

Less stop and go and short distance meaning if your travel is mostly long journey rather than stop mostly at traffic can last longer. Anyway the reason Honda have this feature telling the engine oil life before changing oil is to protect its engine and turbo. Since is just a 1.5L engine with small turbo boost but it’s a powerful engine for its displacement.

I own a Triton 2.5L VGT Turbo, and I just follow the 10,000km interval oil replacement from their Mitsubishi SC. Once new engine oil being use, the engine seems more powerful. Besides Mitsubishi doesn’t have this feature reminding us the engine oil lifespan.

We can’t help you decide which colour to go with as you’ll be facing the CR-V daily. Meteorite Grey, Red or even Pearl White is great. If you want darker colour can go with Olive Green (which is my CR-V colour) where during the day it’s looks a bit brownish green while at night is looks like black colour. If you’re willing to spend around 5K extra can opt for the Black Edition which is purely cosmetic being black-out without any additional accessory given.

I was looking for the CRV too but surprisingly it didnt meet my expectation. I have no idea if the test car I had driven was a problematic one as i could feel the ABS was not like an ABS, kind of hard braking even when you pressed the pedal very very slowly. When i asked the SA, she was like 'not sure'. I drive a Jazz and honestly speaking the Jazz is far better than the CRV.  The CRV won in terms of space, power, features, infotainment and NVH. I was expecting the CRV could handle bumpy road very well, buttttt it might be my expectation was too high or the test drive car was problematic??
*
I drive jazz too then got an opportunity to drive corolla cross for a short distance.
Nice comfort ride.
Now looking forward to test drive CRV when I send my car for service later on.

I have a old turbo diesel (every 5000km) and a Proton turbo petrol engine (every 6 months). 80% town driving. Nothing bad has happened yet.
