Actually this is not only CRV problem but practically most of the keyless entry equipped models in the market. What happened is the thief has some sensitive antenna device that "listen" to the key fob transmission while the unlocking/locking is initiated, copied and use the RF signal to unlock the car.

I have personally installed the brake pedal lock for extra safety.

Situation..

Forgot about the key and left the keys at home.. go outside to eat @ kedai makan about 50km from my house.. Reached at the kedai makan and left my car unlocked but switch off the engine. After that my sister go to the car and ask for the key.. Notice thatthe key is at home (Should be a big problem).. But when she tried to start the engine, the engine start like she have the key!

Problem is, the keys left at the home, but why she still can start the engine?

Imagine that you left the car unlocked then someone get into the car...

Ps: Unlocked the car because i parked the car in front of kedai makan .. about 5 meter from me..

edited: found the problem, spare key lefted in the car, haha.. just bought the car, forgot to keep it! soooo sorry!

I think if you start the car and then left the key at home, I am not sure if you can drive the car away from the house. Have anyone tried? Meaning you have the key with you and you start the engine. Then, left the key at home. Can you still engage D gear and drive off?

Hi, The new CRV FC 2020 launching soon? Confusing whether get current CRV G5 or wait for the new model and does not how long it will launch for the new CRV FC 2020.

I went to the showroom last week. Not gonna hear about G6 anytime soon.. Probably 2022.

Current CRV launched in 2018, and the new CRV facelift sure lauching in this year or next year if not mistaken, but if u say new model CRV (not facelift) it should be needs another 3 years.

From Honda.my website, the discount is same RM3000 for 2.0 and Rm4000 for TC, they extended the promo,, thats meant, the minimum amount of discount is that,, and its up to you on how you deal with your salesman

i pay deposit and booked on 25 June 2020 (here they already request car allocation from Factory)
Loan approved on 3 July 2020
Sign HP agreement on 11 July 2020
Pay full downpayment on 12 July 2020
Received car on 15 July 2020

Mine is 2.0 BTW

They have backlog orders for CRV TC & Civic TC, since factory is closed throughout MCO
Most of the demand is for Civic TC
