I'm at Bukit Jalil, near Awan Besar MRT. High population density with lots of tall buildings. LTE dies between 7pm - 1 AM over here. Lately, it's slow almost all the time.

I'm fine with torrent traffic shaping but when you cant even check WhatsApp, YouTube stuck at 480p (sometimes 144p even) and doing online banking times out way too often,  then RM150 a month seems exorbitant.

Surprisingly LMT firmware do not have pause issue when making calls, after it switch to 3G (making or receive calls) internet is still working without any pause time  :thumbsup:

He mentioned 3G and 3G is not LTE. So, it's not VoLTE.

Why not? It supposedly works this way if without VoLTE. LTE will drop to 3G during a phone call.

3G can have both together. But digi has problem, the data is only works after few mins during calls.

It doesnt work too when i was in orginal huawei firmware. However, after i flashed to LMT firmware, it solved the issue and i can still use the internet while making or receive phone calls.

Yes, i tried to watch youtube (HD 1808) while making call, no problem 

I found a firmware on a Russian forum with VoLTE enabled. PM me if you are interested to try.

This is not true as I manage to use VoLTE on a phone which is not under the supported device list.

Anyone here able to enable PPTP or L2TP connection using another router with i150? The purpose is to get a public IP from VPN.

Not all pig and dog phone can support Digi Volte. The link I send to you, there's a list of devices that only supports them! If your phone got voLTE enabled also, if Digi voLTE not supported on your phone also no use! boleh faham ke?

VoLTE need hardware + software + config/setting to make it work.
If you phone is supported but not able to connect it, it means the modem file is not there.

There is a mbn file inside the system:

either /system/etc/customization/modem/
or /system/etc/firmware/
or /system/rfs/apq/gnss/readonly/firmware/image/modem_pr/mcfg/configs/mcfg_sw/generic/sea/

If you see something XXX_DIGI_XXXX.mbn, congrats your device is supported.

I no longer own the Redmi Note 3. I just tested with an S8 and it is able to get VoLTE while not being listed on the list as well.

With more and more people affected  by the throttle speed when on hotspot thing, I guess we should start to voice out our concern to Digi or the relevant authority.

We are subscribing to a unlimited data plan with no specified data caps or speed throttling, it is stated in the product sheet where  the hotspot will not be capped as well. This is getting really obvious where Digi is enforcing a speed cap on this RM150 plan.

You don't seem to understand the problem over here. They are limiting tethered connections as low as 2Mbps for certain users when their mobile devices can reach like 30Mbps.

According to the product FAQ, Digi i150 should be able to enjoy the full speed with unlimited tethering. I would be fine if they didn't market it that way.

Well, at least there's a way to get around this now.

still that restriction is applicable to all devices would it be mobile devices, pc or others in i80 case.. 
on i150 as far I tested on 2 devices one is PC another is android box I have no issue other than inconsistency of speed.. speed is whether a bit low or near to the tested speed..
maybe yes Digi is throttling but to certain users only..
