Guys, is there any different HUAWEI B315S-22 MODEM with Maxis logo and the Original HUAWEI B315S-22 MODEM without other operator logo?
No luck, Digi perform really bad in my area (Only can get around 2mbps at peak hours).
*
Congestion. DiGi problem. Need to add capacity.

To me, rj11 is a must. But cat6 is tempting.

Another observation from usage last night is the difference in latency/ping between B3 and B7. Ping to google on B7 is around 30-50ms while B3 is consistently above 100ms.
*
It's different from place to place and also probably different from time to time. I am not sure if this information is useful. What do you think?

Difference quite significant, on my other telco seems to be pretty close even on different bands. I wonder if this is worth lodging a report to Digi? hmm.gif
*
I think so. At least they know this problem and fix it.

Hi Guys, I plan to subscribe this plan, but seeing some complaint saying Digi started throttling speed on non-mobile device, is it true?  I am plan to use it in Wifi modem to replace my current home streamyx, will be an issue if it indeed throttle speed on non-mobile device.  Anyone mind to share?  Thanks.
*
If you don't download movie , then you have nothing to worry about. Are you planning to download movie with this plan?

I'm planning to cancel this plan. Very unreliable in cyberjaya area. Sometimes it can go 45mbps, sometimes 1Mbps, sometimes 4G+ full bars I can't send message. Went damansara today seems pretty stable but sometimes also 5 minutes cannot connect to the internet. Sometimes waze will also unable to download maps.

My question is I'm still on my first month, will I get the RM150 second month deposit back?
*
Yes

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 1 2017, 11:42 PM)
Yes, unfortunately some have been having this issue. Full speed on mobile but throttled when hotspot.
I don't have such issue though.
He was not referring to the 1TB limit la. doh.gif

Yup.  I do downloading and streaming and will share the line with other family members.  Therefore only can opt for unlimted data plan to replace my current Stramyx (no fibre available at my area).  So does the speed throttle on non-mobile device true?
*
Then it's not suitable because this plan is not for downloading movie. Once DiGi detect movie downloading, your network will be shaped and throttled. Better continue with Streamyx.

You don't have to download movies through p2p so what you said was misleading.
I thought YOU knew...
*
Normally downloading movie is through p2p. Special case is out of norm and unless we are discussing how to circumvent block by DiGi , I suggest we don't go through that path.

"Normally".
There are many ways to download/stream video without P2P.
In fact, i seldom used P2P that's why i switch TM to digi.
*
Yes that is what majority people do anyway. The other is direct download from seed box and it's variant. So it's only 2 way. P2P and direct download that I know. If you know others, do teach me.

Guy,
Wanna ask is there any different between 150mbps modem with 300mbps modem with our current 4G speed... will be using 300mbps modem having higher speed compare to 150mbps?
Don't think so right ?
*
300mbps is same function as dual channel ram. It double the speed because got 2 channel. Depend on your area.

how about below condition
Max carrier speed limit to 150mbps
Max cat 4 currently able to hit 150mbps

Will using cat 6 modem break 150mbps limit since running 2 channel??
*
Yes, it will be 300mbps. That's why DiGi advertise 300mbps for LTE-A.
