You can get affordable Huawei MiFi at that price range as well.

Tenda MiFi devices aren't that great.

Hello Sifus,

After did some research, planning to buy either Huawei B525 or B618 on the coming 11/11 sales.
Mainly use for telco digi infinite & maxis prime.
Which submodel should i buy for the above models?

1) Huawei B525 - Seems B525s-65a support more band
    a) Huawei B525s-23a:
        - Support 4G LTE Band 1/3/7/8/20/32/38 (FDD 800/900/1500/1800/2100/2600MHz, TDD 2600MHz)
        - Support 3G DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/UMTS Band 900/2100MHz
        - Support 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz

    b) Huawei B525s-65a:
        - Support 4G LTE Band 1/3/4/5/7/8/20/19/26/28/32/38/40/41 (FDD 2600/2100/1900/1800/1700/1400/900/850/800/700MHz, TDD 2300/2500/2600MHz)
        - Support 3G DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/UMTS Band 1/2/5/6/8/19
        - Support 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz

2) Huawei B618
    a) Huawei B618s-22d Supports:
        - 4G LTE Band 1/3/7/8/20/38 (FDD 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz & TDD 2600MHz)
        - DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS:Band 1/8 2100MHz/900MHz
        - EDGE/GPRS/GSM:Band 2/3/5/8 1900MHz/1800MHz/850MHz/900MHz

    b) Huawei B618s-65d Supports:
        - 4G LTE Band 1/3/5/7/8/28/40 (FDD 700/850/900/1800/2100/2600MHz & TDD 2300MHz)
        - DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS:Band 1/5/8 2100MHz/900MHz/850MHz
        - EDGE/GPRS/GSM:Band 2/3/5/8 1900MHz/1800MHz/850MHz/900MHz

Thank you in advance.

B525-23A can connect with house phone, Eg. Cordless DECT phone. 65A cannot connect to house phone. Sing 4G at Lowyat got sell both versions. Get the more expensive version. Check in the description to make sure you're buying the 23A version. It costs me around Rm 880 including two antennas. Without antenna, it will cost you RM 850. This modem is Cat 6 model. Not sure about the other models you mentioned.

You gotta use the huawei apk manager. The link is
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxnFY4Thp8...VZ2SUxaaU0/view
From you can choose the band which you lcok onto. The forum users advised that you do not update the app for fear that it may brick your modem. So no matter what do not update the app even though it says so.

If you have the money, B618 is the one.
Where do you intend to buy it from?

Planning to buy it on TaoBao 11/11 sales. Which submodel is suitable for Digi Infinite & Maxis Prime 22d or 65d?
