Just received my B315s-22 and setup it up to test the capabilities. After speedtest, the average speed I get is around 4Mbps for the router but can get faster speed using phone. The 4G signal strength always maintain at 1-2 bars (lucky enough to get 3 bars but only a short while) even with external antenna (I did change antenna settings to External from Auto in router page), I notice with or without external antenna no improvement for the signal strength.

Speedtest using B315s:

Both test at same spot where I placed the router.
Is that normal for phone getting faster speed and signal strength?

anyone here using TP-LINK MR6400?can give some review?

It's a good 4G router. It could get LTE signal at places where my iPhone 5 couldn't. biggrin.gif
At places with good signal, speed is stable and consistent, but again this depends on congestion at your place.

How to change on 4G LTE Router? TP link MR6400
*
I dont think the router supports 4G+ sweat.gif
And AFAIK, there's no way to choose band on MR6400.
If there's a way, I would like to know too.

Need more information if you want people to help you..
What is your apm setting?
Type of connection? Strength of signal?
Do you subscribe internet data or use basic Internet?

anyone using this plan in sarawak? how is the speed like?

I am. In Samarahan the speed is good. >30Mbps most of the time. Playing games like Battlefield 1 with ~100ms ping.

That's weird because I never face with this kind of issue. Though not full speed (like shown on Speedtest) but it is still fast around 10-12MBps on my phone when I download.
*
QUOTE(tanjiunnya @ Apr 3 2018, 11:56 AM)
I just tried to download app from google play, the speed can reach > 10Mbps. But I did the Speedtest.net and fast.com, the speed very worst, only 3-5Mbps... I watch youtube, the speed can > 10Mbps too.

I tried the Infinit 150 & postpaid 80 plan on my galaxy note 8 phone...

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Apr 3 2018, 11:57 AM)
is it the speed still slowl when u run speedtest app? if the speed suddenly  faster for sure digi is throttling u
*
For me, real download speed is better that speedtest or fast.com.
This is true at least for Steam and Origin downloads.

Do you game online with the B618 ? If yes, how's the ping ? Any significant lag ?
*
Coming from TL-MR6400 to B618, I think the ping is more stable while gaming.

sorry if asking a general question, im not familiar networking.

I have no choice but to use Digi Inifinite for gaming. I get ping between 80-120ms in average for Battlefield 1 on PC.

Haha, was using MR6400 before.
Huge upgrade in terms of signal quality, but too bad can't set DNS in the router itself for WIFI connection.
