Well, the thing is we can't guarantee it will work. Digi will randomly pick and cap some users when tethering. Full speed on phone but once tethered less than 5Mbps. I urge those users to make complaint to Digi.

I don't have such issue though.

mine only get the 5Mbps speed from 6pm - 1am other time get 10Mbps++ hmm.gif

that's why, even the tethering for i80 also can have more than 5 devices, but to surf at the "same time" or simultaneously, there is a restriction of 5 devices only, means the 6th will face something like "Connecting..." for a moment until there is empty slot for it to continue when 1-2 devices not browsing.
I'm using i150 with E5186 and i got more than 10 devices connected to it but i always face pausing whenever i wanna browse to a website and sometimes need to click on the address bar and press enter in order to keep refreshing the website till i get into it...
*
i through that only for infinite 80 and 100 since the tether have limit. infinite 150 also kena kah? hmm.gif hmm.gif

QUOTE((^.^)v @ Nov 5 2017, 06:37 PM)
Hi everyone, I newly join i150, I got the sim last week.

I was using Nexus 7 (tablet 2013) to run speed test, so far I can get 10 - 22 Mbps for download, upload > 10 Mbps.

I find 2 problems using this plan. Having said so the DL is fast, but when I download files or download offline video from YouTube, I can't get the said speed. It's normally around 500 - 800 KBps. The other problem is I use Nexus 7 as hotspot, the speed I got from PC is unstable. Sometimes I got around 2 Mbps, sometimes less than 0.5 Mbps.

- I'm not sure if Digi throttles download speed when it detects user is downloading files on mobile devices.
- And for my PC case, is it Digi limiting users from tethering their internet. Or is it just my Nexus not suitable to be hot spot.

Any idea?

Thank you.
*
i also have the same problem, when downloading it get full speed for few second, after that, it slow to 100-200KB/s

using 4g router here

i think this is suitable with i150

https://new.digi.com.my/postpaid/extra-lines
*
infinite subline will not have any internet because infinite cannot share any quota to subline. so for example if you want to take rm 38, you will need to pay extra for internet quota

Hey guys, just made a switch to i150 from Digi Prepaid. What's a reasonable speed for this i150 4G on iPhone 6?

I got around
10-20mbps in KL Sentral.
0.5 - 5mbps in Tropicana City Mall PJ (my place)
5-10mbps in Mid Valley
5-10mbps in Damansara Jaya
10-15mbps in Pavilion Bkt Bintang

Is this a reasonable speed at all? I'm pretty frustrated as I think I deserve better speed with 4G. The Digi CS is just not helpful, always blaming the maintenance issue. Has anyone tried threatening them with a complaint to SKMM/ KPDNKK and did it work?

Thanks!
*
i got 30Mbps++ on klsentral only using 3g before cause my phone not support 4g
