Nope because it's contract free. However, you will need to pay upfront RM 300 which will be offset in future bills.

This tan_aniki https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4555674/+1180 told me in other post that we could get back the advanced payment for i150 if we subscribed for ONLY TWO DAYS.
i told he/she that the advanced payment would be FORFEITED. Then he/she replied that his/her relative terminated in JUST THREE DAYS and could get refunded.
He/she even did the calculation that RM150/30days = RM5/day, and some more said cheaper if on 31days.
I really DON'T believe this silly one said. But, still wonder anyone here could confirm this?

Ahh very fast. Have to call to port over aka activate?  Thinking of migrating over from Maxis

For my case, I got it online (Friday) and the SIM delivered on Monday.
When I received the SIM, it's already activated. And when my first bill came, the pro-rated charges start on Friday (wasted 3 days money).
Not sure others experience the same as me.

many treat it as broadband but don't think that's what digi had in mind
*
Agree with you.
That's the reason even if Digi network is just like ShitMix, and you complained and complained, Digi could just ignore your complains and said this isn't a broadband plan. Furthermore, you can't even request for rebate for internet regarding issues.

P/S wondering IF it isn't for this "unlimited data + UNLIMITED TETHERING", who really would subscribe this Digi i150 (unlimited call + 1000sms + free RLH = no way).

Can someone explain the difference of band 7 (10mhz vs 20mhz)? I don't see any different in speed - or maybe just my damn area.

Maxis fibre 100mbps for RM129, 30mbps for only RM89.
Really wondering to those who have-fibre-support would still think this Digi i150 worthy?

DiGi i150 only worth it for those who do not have fibre infrastructure in their area or neighbourhood and stuck with TM's Streamyx.
*
some ppl might, while some are NOT. I'm one of it that do NOT find any good with Digi (except only in the morning) even with Huawei B618 still does NOT help one bit.

And, i did say this Maxis 100mbps would be for those-that-have-fibre-supported then only Digi i150 seem unworthy (unless for portability).

i150 should upgrade to 1.5tb at least, since i80/100 got speed upgrade.

Agreed rclxms.gif

With 1tb quota, Digi network is damn congested. And, recently offer unlimited data 12am-12pm (though with capped speed). Its network is further degraded.

BTW, why you ppl like to guess this or that when we’re JUST the users? Beggers NEVER be the choosers.

hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif ...if the subline not get the unlimited data, why there is an gadget sim for RM10. so weird.

The gadget SIM is for those “best value plan” with quota only, NOT for ANY infinite plan.
Come on, Digi isn’t “a frog jumping everywhere”.

If you are talking about hotspot for Bebas,  yes, for now, no restrictions. But the way things are going, it is only matter of time.

P2P restrictions already implemented recently, now speed suddenly reduced without warning, very soon I expect hotspot restrictions also will be implemented.
*
Remember the word “Limited Time Offer”. They could end it without notice, just as you said.
BTW, there’s talks of 5G will replace cable, that seems possible, I will be wondering fibre expansion would be slowing down.
Still, 5G might be some more years later n OT too.

Wanted to save money by downgrade or something, currently on i150...
But i100 is 5mbps only zzz… at least need 10mbps lah…  cry.gif
Wonder if got other alternatives.
*
I100 is capped at 10mbps now (existing or new), with only 20GB quota for tethering.

BTW, test with my Digi postpaid 80 on Huawei B618 yesterday night. Could get around 15-30mbps (auto connection on band 7 20mhz).

When on phone, most of the time connected to band 3 15mhz - quite congested only 1-3mbps. When phone sometime (in a few second) connected to band 7, it would be fast.

Just wondering why B618 doesn't get 4G+ since having B3 and B7. And, i might get back to Digi i150 since B618 could connect to band 7 quite stable.

Really?  blink.gif
Is using USB modem count as a "device" or "tethering"?  hmm.gif
Pretty much 99% of the time I use this sim on PC.
*
Yes, I believe to compete with GX50 from U Mobile, Digi pushes to 10mbps since Digi price is doubled.
Like PoisonSoul said, u put on USB modem is considered as tethering.

Well, no so good for Digi, even getting 20mbps, the PING could be rather bad. Only good for heavy downloading but I don't download anything except for updating. No hope for Digi)

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Oct 15 2018, 10:40 AM)
As long it's not on a phone, it's considered as tethering already. Telcos know what device we are using once we plug the sim in.
