QUOTE(ryukick @ Oct 7 2018, 05:20 PM) Going to SG this week - seems like Singtel is also on the list of roaming partners now - last time was Starhub only? Dont want to get crazy roaming charges...when did Singtel get added? Maybe just recently being partnered, yes last time Starhub only. I don't think I recall wrongly too.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Oct 7 2018, 03:28 PM) 9.5-10 Mbps , before I switched to Unifi Bebas last week. But next month will be moving back to Digi because Unifi reduced the speed from 10 Mbps to 7-8mbps only after people subscribed to their promotion. That was a low blow on their part. thank... currently using the 98V iphone plan - unlimited call but monthly just 20gb plus minus thinking of which is the best plan to change..

Maxis, which offers 30 Mbps from RM139, shaved off 36 per cent to RM89 per month, and TIME, which offers the fastest speed at 100 Mbps, reduced its monthly package price by 34 per cent, from RM149 to RM99. ------------------------------------------------------ What's with DIGI? QUOTE(ckimsem @ Oct 7 2018, 04:06 PM) Remember the word “Limited Time Offer”. They could end it without notice, just as you said. BTW, there’s talks of 5G will replace cable, that seems possible, I will be wondering fibre expansion would be slowing down. Still, 5G might be some more years later n OT too. Our 4G is still a far cry in terms of stability compared to countries like Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and even China. People don’t talk how mobile data in China performs but I assume it’s fast and stable. Else there is no chance of Alipay and WeChatPay to flourish in China. It will be many more years before 5G becomes mainstream in Malaysia. After all, they are still talking about 4G+ here in Malaysia

They are going to implement 5G soon, like very soon. That said, I'm still satisfied with Digi network in my area. >110Mbps all the time, I cannot complain anymore.

Looks like Digi implemented something after gst, my area speed down to 30 only at peak hour, before gst is 90 to 100 at peak. Keep complain also useless... Even worse, rainy day gets to 5mb only. How to use like that?

Location is important. I am using B618 i150 package, nightly 6pm-2am <5Mbps download. Morning will get around 20Mbps. Watching Wei Ying Luo on AOTG at night is a pain

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 7 2018, 05:11 PM) Maxis is Maxis Fibre broadband. Digi Infinite is just a normal postpaid plan, not even broadband. nowadays can you still get 100-150Mbps from speedtest at your pj house? I recall it being under the digi tower or something

Long time never run speedtest, sharing one which I just ran. My house is in a huge taman with tonnes of eateries nearby (all within walking distance from my house), always busy and packed with people at these places. What I could think of is the infrastructure built in this area ia good, especially Digi. Celcom is just so-so - around 35Mbps (4G+) and UniFi Mobile I think is kinda good 40Mbps and above.
