Quick question:

Is it ok to get this AC790S from Shopee?

https://shopee.com.my/**NETGEAR-20AC790s**-...8026.1141653085

I'm thinking of upgrading from my Huawei B593. Will it help to improve my speed? I do see that there is some LTE-A coverage at my area (Desa Green condo, Taman Desa) but currently I don't have any LTE-A capable phone to test the signal.

It is fine but router to MiFi will result in slight downgrade of wireless range and coverage.

Maybe you can consider E5186 or B618.

How about if I use a wireless extender to extend the coverage?

Range extenders can work but the speed will be reduced .

Any suggestion for a 4g lte signal booster that can work well with digi infinite? Im currently subscribe to celcom and digi infinite, i want to terminate celcom but the only blocker right now is I play online game. Overall celcom download speed and stability is quite visibly better than digi in my house. While im outside or going to work, more or less the performance between digi and celcom are roughly the same. Which lead me to believe that the issue is that the problem comes from the signal because sometimes digi shows as 3g(30% of the time) while celcom rarely shows 3g.

The wifi range for the B618 is not the best. If you want to have better wifi coverage, you can either opt for a wifi extender or a signal repeater but it comes at a price of reduces speeds.

Yes it is possible. Plug it in the LAN port and have it configured.

The B618 is considered value for money if you get the TM Unifi Mobile package as you are buying the modem from them. You can than cancel the Unifi subscription on the very day itself, keeping the modem to be used with other Telco mobile plans. The main reason I am saying this is because the B618 has a 4x4 Mimo antenna out of the box which can give you very high speeds and performance if you are getting good reception in your area.

Yes, that is affirmative. If there are any charges, it would only be a few ringgit if you cancel on the very day you activate your subscription. Just tell the liva chat CS that you are cancelling due to poor performance with your connection.

Nope. Use VPN as feedback received by others.
