Aren't they liable for defamation lawsuit?

What did you mean by defamation lawsuit? If client hantam the contractor by sending a private email or letter, what basis the contractor has to sue the client? The communication done via private means, i.e. emails or letters.

considered very lucky already if kena insult by email..... try kena insult infront of everybody where you cant run anywhere else for months... final doc kena baling lagi masuk tong sampah.. dem... those were the days...

heard since last year. their last project is pipeline installation with shell at labuan last year.

Petronas don't award out projects, more companies to bungkus.

Good evening otais.. saya fresh graduate degree mechanical engineering.. saya nk fokus dalam industry o&g. Saya minat dlm maintenance rotating equipment, turbomachinery.. so apa yg saya buat harini, saya cari list company di google dan DOSH, saya contact by phone calls.. some of them, bagi emails utk send resume but mostly nak experience + certificate.. saya x tahu macam mana nk mulakan career. everybody has to start somewhere right?

Executive director and head of Offshore Marine Services of Bumi Armada, a Malaysia-based offshore energy facilities and services provider, has decided to resign from the company.

Bumi Armada said last Friday that Encik Shaharul Rezza bin Hassan would officially relinquish his roles on February 28, 2018.

According to the company, he requested an early release from Bumi to pursue other interests outside the company.

Rezza joined Bumi Armada in September 2005, and prior to his current role as head of the OMS business, he was the chief financial officer.

Bumi Armada chairman, Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, said: “I would like to thank Rezza for his contributions over the last 13 years and his dedication to grow the company to what it is today. I would like to wish Rezza all the best in his future endeavors.”

The company added that it identified an internal successor, Encik Megat Zariman Abdul Rahim to take over the role of head of OMS.

Before joining Bumi in April 2013, Megat spent nearly 22 years at Schlumberger covering several different roles in the organization, including global account director and new business development director.

Petronas promising plan for this 3 years to come. I see an increase of rig count and also greenfields, which is a good thing I guess. My company also foresee 30% growth of activities in SEA alone for this year and i am being put to handle Malaysia operation again starting this March.
The freshies can skim through and look at the list of Petroleum Arrangement Contractor and Operators and try break into the company. There is actually more to life than just PETRONAS haha

do u have any suggestions in mind ? i tried contact such as JML Maintenance, valser, TTES, Integratus Maintenance (no one pick up the call), emerging epc sdn bhd, and frontium energy..

Anyone here know Johor Petroleum Development Corporation? How's the working experience there? Since the company organizing a program at my Uni, so want to give it a try but your suggestion is much more appreciated.
