That Petronas fella kena cold storage treatment from higher management. Hence, the PIP, and unfair evaluation. Thats why she sue Petronas.

A lot of of cold storage treatment goes unreported on the past. Many sudah jadi mangsa...

Petronas is a great Co. to work with, but the... never mind. Malas nak membawang.
*
for her to have work with petronas for 24 years, i believe she most probably in 45-50 years old.
wondering if for us at age 30 put summons & won like this, the possibility to get cold storage for the next employee/ company. foresee we end up not getting hired if that the case.

hence not many people willing to take a risk to report it to authority.

Hi guys, got an offer for an inspection for land rig offer in Africa. Anyone has any past experience for working in this region? The offer daily rate is USD400 seems low to me, looking for some benchmarks from experienced otais, thanks.
*
Which side of Africa? Only cape town is safer for living. Rest too dangerous.

Just went there in Cape Town for work last November.

No idea for your payrate. But my friend which work as client's safety officer with greenbook get 1100usd per day working offshore in fpso kikeh last time.

Oil n gas company affected based on current economy scenario? How bout compare to 2015 time?
*
can say not much difference vs 2015, only difference is those with a splendid salary all gone & replace with normal rate.
all project running nowadays is merely at basic cost by contractor, so running at lost is possible

Contacts in Petronas said that they already got directives from top mgmt to find ways to cut projects’ expenditure!
*
Wth. Few of my buddies just joined in them under 3rd party manpower supply last month. Probably if no improve in fuel price, he will be risky for extension of contract

Foresee Oil n Gas companies to have another round of massive lay off soon

If the COVID situation continues for a prolonged period, oil price is now record low in decades... quite scary
*
Yes. Quite severe for current case vs 2015.
If Petronas also cut cost, hold Project, the contractor will definitely down and cut manpower

Friend there said safe.

Yard in pasir gudang- also safe for now
*
Yard in pasir gudang was known for a very low salary scale. They even willing the staff to resign for better offer than counter it.

Replace them with fresh grad.

Signed an offer letter

About to join new company next week- but Company refuses to allow me to start work/ saying the job offer is postponed.

Situation above is faced by an ex-colleague, is this legal? Can he request for notice period compensation?
*
Obviously illegal. Your colleagues of cz already resigned from his previous job. Now stranded out of somewhere due to this.
