But salary always lower than other floater company in Malaysia..

From my knowledge, Technip never done EPCIC of FPSO accept for FEED, module, SURF and engineering.

I have checked Technip FMC project, currently there is 1 FPSO project ongoing under them at Sembcorp. Karish and Tanin field Israel..

Not sure if there is any EPCIC FPSO contractor own the shipyard, but normal for them to award the fabrication/conversion to shipyard that can deliver the best for them.

If based on their organization, mostly, they only hire local for lower position..

In Malaysia they still skeptical that Expat will do better works than local..

However, its proven that Local can deliver the similar or better quality.. MISC FPSOs, MTC FSO Project and EAT FSO Project are projects that successfully delivered by local.

The boat people will prefer their friends in the team, quality of works come in 2nd..

I have been experienced that the production platform were using 'Imitation' valve.. never come across in my mind that vendor able to imitate well known valve like petaling street selling imitate Rolex watch.
.
Just imagine if there are 4 wellheads line and maybe only 1 line was not using that valve, so loss of production perday may be around USD 1million ++.
.
Also, additional cost to purchase and replace the valve. Valve also take time to be available.
.
But I really wonder how this supplier never worry to supply imitation valve.
