I guess Liquid will come out during certain times... especially when he's near Solid Snake.. but in the trailer I guess Ocelot is still in control..

Revolver Ocelot is set to return in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which continues where Sons of Liberty left off. He is still possessed by Liquid Snake's spirit and now goes by the name of Liquid Ocelot (リキッド・オセロット, Rikiddo Oserotto?). He no longer wears his full cowboy attire, but sports eyeglasses. Also, Ocelot preferred to tie his long hair back, but now wears it freely, in much the same fashion as Liquid had. In the trailer, he possesses Liquid's voice and personality (hence his new moniker), with no sign of his original self except Ocelet's mustache . Kōji Totani, the original Japanese voice of Revolver Ocelot, passed away a few months before the production of the E3 Trailer. In the recent E3 2007 trailer, a brief word is said by Ocelot using Pat Zimmerman's voice, so it is correct to assume that Revolver Ocelot will also be present in Guns of the Patriots, however it is yet to be confirmed if Cam Clarke will voice Liquid again.

The fight between Vamp & Raiden makes me wonder... why did Vamp said to Raiden " You too... Immortal " and Raiden said " I just don't fear death ".. makes me think that the Ninja is not Raiden at all but it's Solid Snake's old friend from Zanzibar, Frank Jaegar since his voice is very similar to the one in the trailer too..

Due to a lack of rumble feature on the PlayStation 3, Hideo Kojima has stated that the game was designed around a new feature. He also stated that if rumble were to be implemented before the game's release, then they would have to choose between the two. Rumble has been an important feature in the rest of the Metal Gear Solid series.

those MGS are not real time in-game engine.  some of those shots look familiar, like from the teasers that were all cgi.

Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary party.

What to expect? Metal Gear Solid 4 online getting its world debut, an on-stage MGS4 play through with series creator Hideo Kojima and two new MGS products being unveiled.

There will be other things as well, like live music, a talk show and some cool videos of the Metal Gear history! Promise. It's at the Ritz Carlton, so look forward to people in fancy suits eating fancy foods. Do check back for our coverage tomorrow.

Could a 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4 be considered a "new MGS product"?

Tonight we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Metal Gear.

While I've only been a member of Kojima Productions for three of those twenty years, I still have a long-standing love for the series.

Metal Gear became a big part of my life when I first played Metal Gear Solid in my family's cold basement in 1998. My appreciation grew to new heights when I played through Metal Gear Solid 3 three times during a cold winter in Hamasaka, Japan in 2005. And my dedication to the series kicked off when I officially joined the development team in September 2005.

Walking to work today, a flood of thoughts ran through my jet-lagged brain -- so much to do today... Shame that some choose to focus on negative aspects of Metal Gear rather than celebrating it on the eve of the party... This new Interpol album is unbelievable... Can't wait to see my friends at tonight's party... Gotta blog about this...

These are exciting times. We're months, not years, away from finishing MGS4... We've got plenty of new stuff in the oven... And we've got an incredible fan base who drives us.

We celebrate Metal Gear with you all tonight.

And tonight, thanks to our kick ass web team and members of the press who traveled thousands of miles for this event, you'll be getting a full report of tonight's festivities.
