sIkuA]In Vista x64, any driver that is not properly signed will not work. In 32bit you can ignore it, but in 64bit mode, it will not work at all

are you sure dude? there is always a workaround if you do a simple search in google:

I think he meant they don't work officially and I doubt it works in SP1. Just my 2 cents. icon_rolleyes.gif

if you are buying a new PC, then you will be able to get OEM, either 32 or 64 bit.

if you are installing on an existing PC, then you can only obtain the retail, which comes in both 32 & 64 bit.

Nope, you can buy OEM and install on an existing PC, not sure whether that is legal or illegal. tongue.gif

If for WinXP, it's legal to install OEM on existing PC, but for Vista... hmmm... not really sure since Vista uses XRML licensing and also check your BIOS for valid OEM BIOS info...

Click on the View button to change back to the view you need. Somehow Microsoft built too much intelligent into the Explorer and make "decision" without consulting the user!

you can change the default view for all folder. to make all folder view icons in Tiles, do these:
QUOTE
1 - Close any Explorer folder
2 - Open one folder that have Tiles view
3 - Go to menu Tools -> Folder Options...
4 - On the View tab, click the Apply to Folders button
5 - Click Apply button at the bottom and click OK button to close the dialog box
6 - Next time you open any folder, it will be shown in Tiles view, hurrah!! rclxm9.gif

what version of Visual Basic do you need? If you want full compatibility, get Visual Studio 2008. Visual Studio 2005 needs Service Pack 1 installed for Vista compatibility. Visual Studio 2002/2003 is not compatible with Vista. Visual Basic 6.0 is not compatible with Vista but I can get it running on Vista SP1 without problem except Aero glass theme problem...
