We promised Milner a central midfielder role but he end up as a LB. Even it's hard for him, he didn't complaint but still give his best.

Ox also want a CM role as in his "I always want to be Gerrard" quote.. With Coutinho, Lallana, Can, Gini, Hendo, Grujic, (Keïta?).. I don't think we could give him that much playing time as a CM. If he come and insists on playing in that role, there might be a possibility he would want to jump ship again in the future. But as a winger, he would be good signing especially when mané or Mo need to be rested.

Promise him everything he wants to listen first, get him to sign. After that, change the job descriptions. Lol happens in real life too.

I really don't remember seeing him perform as a CM in Arsenal. Only when he attack from the wing, that's where he impress me a few times.

I wonder why he's so confident to want to play as CM.
