that's the fucked up thing about our transfer process. Despite all the talk about us having huge amount of $$ to spend, we're still reluctant to pay up for quality players. I don't think that clubs are unwilling to sell, I believe that if you offer them a decent amount $$ it'll be hard to say no too, especially if the players wants the move (Keita & VVD). But Liverpool always blame it on club reluctant to sell, no players available etc. Which club in the right mind would sell their best players? There'll never be quality players available and that's a fact. We just have to pay up and make an offer that other club can't refuse, instead of talking and monitoring and being confident all day, it's frustrating.

Other club identify their weakness and immediately spend to fix it. Just look at United, they needed a striker, was link to Lukaku few days back and now they have already agreed a fee with Everton.
