If you are coutinho, where would your mind be?

For some LFC ppl, it's shrewd business. Nothing else

Errr well, the answer is obvious isn't it? Who don't want to play for Barcelona? Who don't want high wages? Who don't want to win as much trophy as they can in their football career?

And I seriously can't seem to find any other players that can replace Coutinho, with such a short time left in the transfer market some more.

Yet another roller coaster campaign for us next season. mega_shok.gif

Looks like there isn't any(more) 'marquee' transfers IN but the need to defend players from being sold to financial might of bigger clubs

Ohh..then cross that one out, still more than enough for any players to play there. Add another 1, who doesn't want to play alongside Messi, the best in the world? biggrin.gif

After final friendly match vs Bilbao, Klopp seems hinted that Milner will be push back to midfield, with Robertson and Moreno fight for left back spot.

Let the meltdown here begin.

if you were a coach you wouldn't want milner shifts from LB unless you think someone else already is adqueat enough to take on that position. I think Klopp is confident enough to let those 2 fought for LB, if not Milner always can go back to deputies LB until someone capable comes along.

This. Not like that we are not being patient but this has been happening since FSG took over.

I am sure there will be many other players on the same level as Coutinho or even better than him, but what I meant on my previous post was the short amount of time to get an actual replacement. And there will be no guarantee the replacement can linked with the team, or adapt to EPL in such a short time.

Sigh..please don't leave mega_shok.gif

Carra said Liverpool DON'T need Barcelona money.

[cough]

maybe FSg 😝 sees as shrewd business. I know if it was David Levy (spurs), he will drive a hard bargain & sell twice that. I mean Neymar's record fee dwarfs everything.

Last time when Torres handed in his request, the manager was Roy hougson. He doesn't even know where some players are to be played (positions)- he (Roy) did admitted it. I don't blame him (torres)

Then Suarez threw in wanting out of LFC because we weren't reinforcing the squad to be world beaters, and again we had a (certain) gaffer that divided the forumers here. (But we had Gerrard)

Now we have a good coach/manager (in klopp), we haven't won anything yet but we have promising gameplay in years. Why would coutinho WANT to leave us.

Granted we don't have Messi or Suarez in front & several other best players as teammates.

So at the very least, coutinho shd remain for another year. That's my wish

The key words here are: haven't won anything; promising; in years.

As VVD said it, footballer career is a really short one. Coutinho has no time to waste. He needs to be in the team that can compete immediately. Whether he's kind enough to give us another year is up to him entirely.

And for anyone saying that Coutinho will only go to PSG because his best buddy Neymar is there, you all should wake up because they are not 6 years kid where they only want to play with their best buddies.

Supposedly we still have 140M to be spent (70 for Keita and 70 for VVD), and we can't even spend those money because clubs do not want to sell. What's the use to give us another 100M from selling Coutinho if we can't spend them. This will be the chance for us to see what's FSG intention.

But of course if Coutinho publicly agitated for a move then we will have no choice do we?

Biggest joke is seeing Liverpool fans slagging the Southampton board for keeping a tight grip on the player and putting an exorbitant sale price on his head, only for the player to move to CFC.

Well if he does go to CFC, that's another feather on FSG's long list of failure cap.

RBL doesn't even want to sell us Keita at 70M. Imagine if they know we get 100M for Coutinho, how much RBL would demand for Keita?

Replacement must be bought before selling your top player for big money. Otherwise all clubs will play hard ball and demand huge money for even an average player.

Right now Barcelona is having the same problem. Everyone knows they have 200M from selling Neymar. It's impossible for Barcelona to buy players now without overpaying.
