Whoever just blindly believe this kind of silly transfer rumour deserve to be laughed at. Last time one press also confirmed naby keita 100% is coming to Liverpool. What happened now? Where is he now?

Stay cool lah brader.

Well, no offence, I admire your optimistic-ism, but when over optimistic it will lead to delusion.

Everything start with a rumour, we can look at other example as well, the news of Salah joining us also start with rumour and non-trusted source. In the end he joined us also what.

It's hard for the fans to stay cool when the transfer windows is closing soon, not to mention every team had already started to settle down while we might lose our key players right after the season start.

He's the one who hands in transfer request despite the club has said that he is not for sale, so the blame has to fall squarely on his feet? I dont think we should conveniently forgot that Salah was wrapped up quite efficiently, by our own standards...
*
Don't really think the blame should be on him. Just ask any players to put themselves in Cout's shoe, I bet everyone will want to play for Barcelona instead of Liverpool which doesn't show any ambition to challenge for the top at all.

A pretty good smooth and good deal for Salah, but totally failed on both VVD and Keita. mega_shok.gif

Maybe i fall on the side of optimistic, but i think our dealings this summer have helped us to get over our weaknesses of last season. Depth, cutting edge, creativity.
Well actually, almost the same deal - Salah - helps us to achieve this, but still it's a pretty good progress. And we lost our way only after Mane was off to Afcon and then out.

It's really fcking frustrating to keep losing our top player, especially to same club. Deja vu much?
*
I don't even dare to think about that. Don't really want to remember the next season without Suarez. bangwall.gif

Whats more frustrating is that Liverpool had sort of become a stepping stone for top players, shine with us then move on to a higher spot. cry.gif

Soton feed us, then we feed Barca.

Klopp's stubbornness will be his own downfall. We can see it from the way he approaches games in terms of tactics and the way he operates in the transfer market. He is a Plan A guy through and through. Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk are his Plan A, pretty good Plan A to be fair but when it fails he refuses to move on to Plan B leaving us with a severe lack of depth.

Mourinho targeted Dier and Morata as first choice target but as obtaining them becomes unrealistic he moves on to his next targets in Lukaku and Matic which aren't bad at all. Similar case with Guardiola who thought he had the Dani Alves deal all wrapped up but as soon as the deal was off he immediately moved on to signing Danilo.

Let's not forget, our problems last season stem far deeper than just Mane going off to AFCON. We were struggling even before he went and after he came back. We couldn't cope with the loss of Coutinho midseason and we couldn't cope with the loss of Lallana's injury on international duties TWICE. Yet we have added basically no depth to our midfield. Now it's going to get even worse if somehow Coutinho gets his way and jets off to Barcelona. Some may argue that defence is our greatest weakness but I think that our midfield is just as bad. The problem with our defence is a systemic one rather than just individuals. Signing Van Dijk won't magically fix our problems. Anyone noticed how easily Watford players run past our midfield like it's non-existent? Hendo is just not capable defensively and Gini is just an invisible passenger. Let's not even mention the lack of creative spark from our midfield. We were bailed out today by Mane and Salah's brilliance.
*
Spot on for the bold part. I am not even sure whether Klopp is too stubborn or he just couldn't find other target.

TBH, today all 3 of the midfield is shite. Hendo sucks in defensive midfield role, Gini is flying kite most of the time, Can barely stands out as well. Watford players easily pass from defends straight to their forward. Then their big size forward that able to win most of the aerial duel.

With Lallana injured and Coutinho leaving, I will vomit blood every time watching our midfield trio of Hendo, Can and Gini. puke.gif

Oh shit, we never had any good result against Burnley 😖😫

1-3 and 2 red card for Chelsea, now that's more disastrous than us. sweat.gif

Just watched Arsenal v Leiceister highlights, well I just want to give credit to Wenger brilliance in his substitution. Subs both Ramsey and Giroud in, then both of them scored to help Arsenal win the games. No matter how I see it, Wenger should get the most credit in that.

Klopp's decision in substitution need to better.

Mahrez? Most probably staying at Leicester or go to Arsenal, no chance for us.

Aside, even if now we have Coutinho back, with Lallana injury prone, our midfield is still damn shaky. Gini, i think I dont need to say much yet everyone know he is not good enough. Hendo is not really good as DM, Can is on and off, he need to be consistent.

Gini is still living off his Manchester City goal from last season

Ah well, there is some fans that doesnt really look at the bigger picture and praise Gini is good just because he scored some important goals in big game.

Salah is marquee player 😤😳😳?? "Most expensive LFC player"

Ok base on today's inflation the likes of Suarez/Torres in their heyday shd set about 80-100m...

No wait neymars fee obliterated/dwarfed everything. It looks like min 70m to get good marquee players.

FSG will never spent that amount in the near future. It's almost like they threaten to buy VVD n keita but it does seem like poker bluff (sorry it likely to annoy some LFC fans here)
*
Based on today's market and inflation, a proper marquee/top players price should be at least 50m and above.

So yea we wont be having any marquee signing because FSG surely not willing to spend 50m on a single player.

Our LB was so shit that Klopp had to turn our CM into a makeshift LB.

So this transfer window Klopp bought a new LB who is even shitter than our shit LB so that our shit LB is instantly first choice LB and bench the makeshift LB. And the shitter LB is nowhere to be seen.

The policy of buying cheap and potential young players and hoping they turn good eh. Solanke will turns out good? hmm.gif

Btw I still remember we were linked to Marco Asensio back in July, he fits the policy, but too bad he is not for sale. And I bet he will be freaking expensive in a year time.
