Hi all, may I know what is the cable that able to connect PS2's AV out to LCD monitor Analog/DVI in called? How much does that costs usually?

Bro, I don't think PS2 are able to connect to LCD monitor by just using cable. PS3 can by using HDMI cable with DVI. For PS2 to connect to LCD, you'll need a TV BOX which would cost your around RM300.

Wow imo RM300 is expensive for a TV box, almost near the cost of a used PS2 already

No need TV BOX bro, play through TV can d. TV BOX I dont think the resolution is that great either.

Just want to ask because i already use the button search for my problems..
I didn't know that i was pressing the O & Triangle button while loading the PS2 and the screen come out and a weird setting comes out with big MATRIX word..
This is the first time i encountered this problem so i just press start..
And suddenly i can't play any games on my ps2..
Please help me..

Bro, you might have entered your modchip browser screen (Matrix chip) and might have disabled it. try ringing your gameshop and ask how to enable it.

Added on May 23, 2008, 7:36 amUSB port in PS2 are quite useless. They did came out with mouse and keyboards for it but I believe most gamers don't really need it . You can equip a blowing fan to cool your PS2 for the 70000 series though.

that setting screen for modchip matrix infinity or matrix infinity clone ,
if your matrix infinity clone don't adjust any setting because you will end up with dead modchip .

for you info you can play game via usb hdd , play movie with sms , transfer save file tu usb hdd or thumdrive & lot more

Hi, all sifoos, today when i play "BLACK" game..about second mission..suddenly the graphic become bit blur..but still can continue play..issit because of the console? or the cable?
later after tighten the cable n press reset seem to be okay dy...anything wrong?

I have no idea about the USB fan but if you are using SCPH 90000 series, no point getting a fan as there is no duct in front for the fan to blow. 3rd party component cable should cost around RM20-30 only.
