uh..so anyone played shadow of the colossus? i heard it was a good game, so i want to try it out. the problem is i have an asian PS3 and I'll need the NTSC-J version. To complicate things, I've heard the english one is only on the Chinese version...and Play-asia is sold out so I'm sh*t-outta luck! Anyone want to sell me their version?

Perhaps I should just buy a PS2. Any of you willing the part ways, for how much?

I have bought a new PS2 a last week, after playing for about 3 times and less than 30min a session, the console couldn't read the game disc. Playing DVD is ok though. I sent the console back to the shop and was told that the lens is burnt and it's not covered under warranty.

Is this normal?

What's the precaution to be taken to prevent the lens from being burnt?

you had been cheated.. if the lens is problem, it should not play the dvd..

yup that right . ps2 have 2 coils one for dvd & other one for cd . if your ps2 can read dvd movies than it should read dvd game . if your ps2 can read cd music than it should read cd game .
go back to the shop & slap his/her face with your ps2 & don't forget take pic & post here

I try it... for sure SUX la... trust me.. that why i buy ori PS2 game such as FF10, FF12 & MGS3 to play using my PS3 ... the GFX much better la... ....

I use thumbdrive and Action Replay Max Evo Edition (PS2).

maybe cause you use rechargeable battery.. just my opinion..

ERmmmmm.. im not really good with the "bahasa" your using there.. but.. you meant the connection between your wireless controller to your receiver not working properly rite?.. and most of the time like can't detect your controller... rite?..

What brand of wireless gamepad you are using there?... it doesn't sounds like you are using 'Logitech Cordless Controller', correct me if im wrong there..

I'm saying that because if not mistaken, other than Logitech wireless or cordless controllers doesn't have good connection with the receiver, as it doesn't have proper RF (radio frequency), if you understand what i said..

In other words, the only proper wireless/cordless its from Logitech, the rest brands doesn't work well, and mostly needed to aim at the receiver like those IR (infra-red) remote.. lol

gamepad use Lord Panther (kita sulah jual manyak..xde olang komplen).firstly use,ok.
but after use recharger battery..problem coming.sometime lost kontek.Logitech of coz
demm guud..but the price,argghhh..$$$

well,after tukar brand rechager battery(energizer now),the probelm mebi setel.i dun know.
mebi someday..who knows.come again the prob..letGO & go for hi-TECH console

Anyway PS2s are definitely worth it especially the cheap price of it now.
Too many great games on one system.
Only the NDS have the potential to match its excellent library of games.

Does PS2 have like a mini screen as an accessorie, PS1 had a detachable screen to it, does PS2 have that capebility?
