The cage a bit low lah... change taller cage lah, your Pongpong sure like.... or be creative and make extension so you can still use the current cage heheheh.

for me .. very very very low . at least 2ft .. mine is 5ft.

Well.... if you get back a joey, take the male lah... if female then later father daughter breed together.... sounds so wrong ler....

Ohh... traveling, then better do cage extension lah. You can get wire mesh and make another 2ft tall cage, then get some wires or clips and attach it to the top of your current cage. Sometimes more space is good. If you keep 2, lots of space is good heheheh.

Chaf, initially I thot that the cage is big and tall like the one I saw, but like that is consider small lar. If you can double the height of the cage is better. Even if you travel, ready made cages like that can be dismantled one. Mine is 3 feet high, can fit in my small car also... How? Cuz can be dismantled lar...

Make it taller okay.

Borrowed for breeding?? This is such a NO-NO with gliders. Why??

Because,

1) If you've introduce your glider with a companion/friend, they need to be together always because separation later on will cause loneliness, depression and death to one.

2) Male gliders play an important role in parenthood. They cannot be separated until the joey is independant on it's own. After OOP, the male and female gliders will take turn in taking care of the joey, grooming the joey and so on. If you separate them still, can cause depression too.

You do know that sometimes gliders produce only one joey? It is not always 2 all the time. If you get only one, how are you going to split per say?

Like Hun said also, if you wanna keep the joey with your male glider, better get a male too because with a female joey, inbreeding will happen and the future joey will be a nutcase.

And to your question that you think this is a good idea, of all the things stated above, NO, I don't think this is a good idea. You should have thought about it before jumping into breeding your glider.

any idea where they sell those with reasonable price?

CFP, clear ker my pixs? I always think not so clear too lah.. Unlike Hun's so clear, I think she uses good camera I use compact digital only, one thing tho, hand has to be very-very stable plus they also have to be still for a mili second, if they move also won't get clear pix unless you use SLR with high shutter. Placing your camera on something stable like a stack of books or tripod helps a lot. I think gonna invest in a mini tripod lah...

Ohh, one more thing, some pixs are not so up close cuz too close memang blur, some are cropped one

DoOgi3, appreciate if you do more research before getting a suggie or asking where to get one with reasonable price. Don't be an impulsive buyer. Seems like all the pets that caught your interest are exotics, keep in mind exotics are not like keeping hamsters and such, they have special needs. Understand them before deciding on anything. haha . do post em up ! and just notice sumthing. both Iggy and Luna sleep in the same pouch ar ? haha . poor luna. iggy leg sticking up near her face ..

last time i put both aiko and chika together, chika just sleep above aiko .. penyek aiko .. haih .. after a while aiko go mad and making sounds at chika . hahaha .. after that chika move to beside aiko . then sleep happy till midnight .

Haha, not all camera got the anti-shake thing. Most new ones got lar, like mine bought a year ago only pun tarak.

CFP, last time my first digital was Olympus, I find it kindda sucky too. Now using Nikon, altho at the low end a bit, but so far so good DSLR is cool!

I'm figuring out to set up a small studio like area to shoot pix Iggy and Luna Haha, see how it goes...

Haha, yeah, they sleep in the same pouch. Even if I put 2 pouches in the cage, they still sleep in one only. Iggy hard too sleep without Luna. So attached already. Luna also starting like that. If one in my baju, one the pouch, the one in the pouch will not sleep. Have to put both in my baju also, baru sleep They're used to sleeping "penyek" each other, but Iggy and Luna quite fair, sometimes Iggy penyek Luna, sometimes Luna penyek Iggy, sometimes just side by side

a fren of mine did teach me to take fast moving pictures using his spare DSLR. fuiyo .. best ! the picture quality super best. can zoom far summore with his big lenses. then it take picture very fast ! 5 frame in just a 2 seconds.

but when ask the price... fuhh . 8k sumthing ! ... pengsan !

Well, Luna has improved a lot, I can say she know me already I do the "inside the shirt bonding" with her, now she pandai masuk sendiri my baju if I take her out from the pouch

She still doesn't jump back to me like Iggy does, but she'll crawl onto my hand if I show to her and call her slowly. Takes a bit of time tho.

But so far she has never ever jumped from one place to another, she's used to crawling more

That's why I rarely let her roam free in my apartment, scared she'll crawl under the couch or fridge. Unlike Iggy he likes high places like curtain so easier to find and he'll find me anyway.

Wahh, DSLR aper tu? DSLR 2k - 3k also can get good one already
