Hi, could use a help with this commercial F&B hot water dispenser.

http://www.coffeemakersetc.com/fetco-hwb21...ser-p-2268.html

Fetco HWB-2105 TOD Hot Water Dispenser

I'm being told by the local importer that the rates is

Duties tax: 30%
Sales tax:  25%
Tax for boiler items:10%
Freight charge: 20%

Smells a bit BS to me, so it would be nice if someone could give a second opinion.
*
Storage water heater/boiler (8516.XX.XXXX) total tax is 30% (20% + 10%).

Anybody know if I order a GPS device will I be taxed?

http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/NEW-GARMIN-GLO-...#ht_1177wt_1139

Is it considered a radio device? It has GPS and bluetooth. But the value including shipping is less than RM500. Replies appreciated.

lol, the rakuten shop cancelled my order for electronic dictionary due to they didnt have import permit.

Is the shop have to apply import permit for 1 pc of purchase?
*
Electronic Dictionary no need to apply for import permit, because the items is not under Customs Prohibition of Import Orders regulation. I think maybe they aren't authorized (from manufacturer) to export the dictionary outside of their country.

do i need to have the import license?
*
Actually physical exercise equipments (HS code 9506) don't have any tax and not subject under new Customs Prohibition of Import Orders (new enforcement starting March 2013) regulation, but since you want to import it in bulk, I suggest you to contact Customs regarding this matter for further clarification.

about above ,i not really understand ?can explain in more simple?sorry about dat
*
now, toys or anything that can be described as toys must have permission from KPDNKK to import it, or called Certificate of Conformance (COC) from KPDNKK, it's just like you need to apply import permit to import some goods into Malaysia. If the toys is for personal use only, you may apply for 'Letter of Exemption' from KPDNKK and show it to customs in order to release your goods which is detained by customs. Contact KPDNKK for explaination regarding COC or 'Letter of Exemption' for toys related goods;
