QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 28 2017, 07:46 PM)
all the site nearby ur coordinate is 4G+ enabled.
*
Currently I don't have a Samsung phone or a rooted phone so I can't force to a particular band, but when I had a Galaxy S4 last year, forcing the phone to Band 7 could not detect any LTE at this sput. Up to now, that area is always 1800MHz LTE as far as I can see.

I use the LTE Discovery app to tell me which band I'm on (On Android 7, no need to root for this information).

QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 28 2017, 07:46 PM)
whr cant u get the 4G+? outdoor or indoor?  blink.gif
make sure u detected 2600mhz (cell id 1xx), as normally digi disable 2600mhz at midnight...
*
This location is a pre-war shophouse coffee shop right beside a busy T-junction. I'm only here on afternoon weekends.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 28 2017, 07:46 PM)
update:
there have 6 sites nearby the location
1) all enable 4G+
2) 4 of them enable 900mhz

im thinking if u get 900mhz rather than 1800mhz when u at that location or no  sweat.gif
*
Maybe the 900MHz is there but perhaps the 1800MHz LTE is too dominant for the 900MHz to show up on my phone.

I'll just chalk this up to the particular layout of buildings causing this location to be a blindspot for 4G+.

MNP at Digi Store Express cannot be done for prepaid? Went there few days ago and was told they can only do for postpaid.
*
Correct, i found that out last year. Also, stuff like roaming activation and SIM card replacement, you get less hassle at a Digi Store compared to a Digi Store Express.

That's why I usually go to the Digi Store despite having a Digi Store Express nearer to my place.

Hi I want to ask. I have been trying to port my prepaid number to Maxis and have failed 5 times already. They said request not successful. Call Digi said no problem. Got the SMS confirmation and reply Y but failed. Already gone to Maxis many times to resubmit request.
*
I don't remember the details of porting out from Digi, but I remember porting out from Maxis requires that you type YES, not Y. Just a wild guess here...

I just realised last day or so we can now type USSD codes (eg.*100#) over 4G on Digi's network. Previously needed 2G/3G for it to work.

Now I test again, it only works on my prepaid on the 2nd SIM slot (OP3T}. Maybe *#*#4636#*#* doesn't work properly on the 2nd SIM slot.

QUOTE(scorp @ Oct 5 2017, 02:38 PM)
Recently I'm very disappointed with Digi. I changed a phone for my dad last month, he is using Call Plan D50 for many years. The second day, his number has been barred due to credit exceeded the limit. I am very surprise as his normal bill is about RM47~48 per month. I have no choice need to make a payment of about RM150 to unbarred it. When I check online, it shown that the charges due to data usage. My dad is 60+ years old and he do not know how to go internet. I wonder why Digi charge him data usage. I thought this may due to he accidentally click the youtube or whatever then I turn off the mobile data in the phone setting.

This Monday, I was told that his phone kena barred again. When I check online, the unbilled amount is about RM370+, again data usage. The mobile data on the phone setting has been turned off and how the DATA USAGE come from?

I try to check at Digi Centre yesterday. We was told that we need to wait for the itemized bill to be released then only can investigate. I request to turn off the data service forever, he told me it is impossible to turn off the data service as it comes together with the call plan. But when my dad purchased the plan few years ago, there is only "call" plan, no data. Now we were told that the data come together with this call plan, why? Somemore, the guy told us that in order not to get charged data usage in the future, my dad has to change back to use the simple phone without internet function.

I'm planning to switch to other telco bcoz I dun wan to keep on pay for this extra charges and spoil my mood. Really uphappy with this.

Assuming your dad's phone is Android, you can look under Settings > Data Usage and see which apps or services are the biggest culprits for using the mobile data.

Both min and max. You have to pay minimum or. maximum of RM150, in order to get exactly RM50 per line & 60GB to share. 150/3=50
*
You're confused. The price is fixed at RM150. You can have 2 lines or 3 lines. That is all.

My apologies if you're talking about something else.
*
You're not forced to sign up all 3 lines. The RM50 written there is to help the potential customer visualise the average IF all 3 lines are taken up.

Guys do I have to turn on roaming if I were to sms from overseas?

I tried sending sms home but it seemed that the msg was not able to get through
*
At the instant you sent the SMS, was your phone already locked to a telco service there?

If not then you obviously cannot use any services there.

Finally cancelled my Gadget SIM because now I have TunrTalk 20GB a month @ RM200 a year. I don't really need the extra 20GB, but might as well for the same price as sharing my Postpaid 110 25GB with a 2nd SIM.

Before:
Digi 110 + Gadget SIM
25GB + unlimited weekend
@ (RM110 + RM20) + GST

Now:
Digi 110 + TuneTalk Vibe 200
25GB (+ up to 3GB rollover) + unlimited weekend + 20GB
@ RM110 + GST + RM16.67

Hi guys, so what's the cheapest family line option available now for Digi postpaid?
Need 2 subline, 1 without data, but main line must have data. So mainl linehave data, 1 sub with data and another sub without data. Possible?
*
I guess you can find a solution here: http://new.digi.com.my/postpaid/extra-lines

You could assign one of the supplementary lines with zero data allocation.

Any way to resolve it? Maybe some pros can check whether got problem at my area. Usually the weekends the speed will drop below 10 Mbps. But now every day.
And last weekend I got max 2 Mbps on 4G. WTH Digi!

Thanks. Does this apply to all postpaid? if I get postpaid 50  then add 2 more sub line at RM38 each, is that doable?

Not sure. Give Digi a call or live-chat and see what they recommend.
