but if just want to port in another line and subscribe as supplementary under Digi 38 supplementary plan, still need to change the supplementary number to principal name? still considered as family plan?
*
It'll just be a supplementary line to a principal line.

The confusion arises because Digi has a multi-line postpaid plan officially called FAMILY PLAN, which is not the scenario you described.

so in this case, i don't have to change the supplementary line name to my name? i chatted with Digi customer service on live chat and the person told me the line has to be under my name and this made me wonder why it's so. Without family plan, is it possible to have internet sharing with supplementary line? i'm on Digi80 postpaid plan
*
Yes, you can share internet on your Postpaid 80 with a supplementary line. (But cannot share weekend data if you have any.)

You pay RM10 monthly to enable internet sharing on top of the line charges.

Don't mention the word "family" otherwise the blur CS officer might get confused.

Anybody have experience about this Free GBoost if sign-up online for DiGi Postpaid 80?

Is it one-off (meaning only 1st month) or monthly price is fixed at RM80 for 30 GB (20GB All-day + 10GB extra)
*
the
RM80 is the charge without GBoost. With GBoost it will be RM90.

Please note that the cash vouchers mentioned in the postpaid plans page do not apply to existing Digi postpaid subscribers moving to another Digi P
postpaid plan.

I'm quite ok with Digi at my area. Surprisingly less CNY congestion this year than in previous years.

Not the absolute best network, but I could write a whole essay on why I'm happy sticking with Digi and not go elsewhere.

Hi guys,

Anyone know what is the cooling period for digi prepaid line to port out?

Tried to port out to other telco but asked me to contact current telco.

I'm using this line around 1.5 months already.

One month should be good enough. But make sure your account is active, positive credit etc.

At least don't go off-topic. Discuss Digi stuff in the Digi thread. Is your life that insecure that you're afraid people don't sign up to Hotlink?

QUOTE(iiee @ Mar 8 2018, 09:20 PM)
Hmm, I think i found the deeper reason.  My location is in between 2 different LTE bands from DiGi, B3 & B8 from 2 different Tower ID.  Netgear M1 will sometimes no internet at all and in the diagnostics page it shows the modem is switching between 2 bands every few seconds.  After few minutes it will stable again, until some times the switching will happen again and no internet.  B8 vs B3 strength is like 55% vs 45%, but speed wise B3 is 6 times faster than B8.  I am pointing the antenna to B3 tower but B8 will disturb from time to time because it is slightly stronger.  I can point the antenna to B8 tower and it will be very stable there but the speed is like 400kB/s only.

Could this be the reason Huawei and Exynos cannot detect DiGi 4G at all, when 2 bands of almost same strength exist?  Both snapdragon modems are proven to work.

You want to feedback to Digi themselves? Make them aware of what's happening at your area.

I now detect CA (4G+) while the phone is on 900MHz (Band 8). But only at a very specific spot (1 sq m) and the speed is not much of an improvement over non-CA.

lol. giving feedback to digi? joke of the day.  they just wont respond it. they will bullshitting  instead

I complained in April 2016 and they told me my area will be upgraded in October 2016. Sure enough in December 2016 when I MNP'd back to Digi from Hotlink, the signal had improved markedly. No harm in informing them.

The "FREE" refers to the voucher only. GBoost costs RM10 a month from the start.

I subscribed to Music Freedom last week and today it's already 0.5GB less than the allocated 5GB. Is BBC iPlayer Radio covered by this Music Freedom? That's the only streaming I've done as far as I'm aware. Or is it deducting from other stuff I wasn't expecting?

I think it's not covered in music freedom. More info u can refer here: http://new.digi.com.my/apps/music-freedom

Well, the web page I already know for sure. I was hoping someone has inside knowledge of exactly how DMF works. I suspect it's deducting from some Android system processes as well.

As u mentioned you only stream bbc player, of cos it'll deducted from data since music freedom doesn't include bbc player.

So why is Music Freedom less 500MB already?

This is my question.

Hmm, Digi just subscribed me for a 30-day 1GB plan without asking me. Told me the first 2 months are free.

I think they're trying to encourage me to subscribe to stuff since I never subscribe to anything on this Best Prepaid 2017.
