I don't mind going there take a look as previously I was not with them anyway.
Will make a smaller 2nd rig to see what nicehash does.
Main rig sticks with nano.
*
i see ...what will be ur smaller rig specs? smile.gif

Hahaha, step by step lar...

Need to plan out the location on the ceiling and think how to insulate the system against the heat from the tiles.
Also source of fresh air and port holes placement.

Very interesting project. If successful I sure will share share.

Malaysia's weather is really not friendly for mining.
*
but very friendly for solar energy..if can combine this two..is so perfect tongue.gif

Solar power could easily take up another RM30k because the rigs are power hungry.
Dunno farm until when can afford to have this type of profit to install solar system.  sad.gif

indeed..solar power aint cheap ><"

coin that is more core intensive?
Example : ETN, Zcash, monero.

If want mine ETH better stick with radeons, more costs effective.
But damn hard to get in market now.
*
yup, read alot article saying Radeons is really efficient in doing this...but i didnt have lobang getting Radeons

im dilemma in either buy GTX1070x2 or GTX1070TIx2??

I have RX560 x 2, GTX1070x2 and GTX1070Ti x 2. Power = 620W.
mining ETH, payout 0.05ETH around 2.5 days.

Not yet changing to zcash yet coz dunno how to exchange zcash to ETH.
*
620w calculation how u sum up?

GTX1070TI = 180w
GTX1070 = 150w

btw, why not going for 4xGTX1070? any reason there?

GTX 1070 Ti should be better for mining vs GTX 1070.

Also bear in mind wall-meter is after the efficiency calculation from PSU already.

So actual draw of the cards are less.

What I do is I adjust the power target to what I find comfortable.

Sometimes the additional draw is just not worth the hashrate. By adjusting power target you can get similar hash but lower power draw and less heat.
*
didnt know GTX 1070TI is better in term of mining...

but i have order 2x Zotac GTX1070 amp.. sweat.gif

More than enough lor.
GTX1070 is 150W each.

2 x 1070 = 300W
CPU/Mobo/HDD about 70W

total 370W

goods...mean still got rooms for addiction adding more cards...LOL...

i was thinking ETH is going to POS real soon but don't when. So for long term i might as well stick to 1070 mining then.
from nicehash, it profit around Rm16 per day . Look good.

anyway, when u exchange the earning to fiat?

for the exchange, too bad i just from that and thinking to start mining as a hobby biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  earn peanut but hopefully earn the hardware for pweh pweh when free brows.gif

and if any crytocurrency bubble goes wrong...GTX always has better resell value than RX

Did a rate of return calculation for mining zcash using GTX series.
Assuming the price of zcash remain constant, takes about 8 months to return.
So.. hope for another good year 2018 for all crypto lar, it wil increase rate of return quickly.

My rig with
4 x 1070, 2 x 1070ti
1200W platanium PSU.
uses about 820w as shown by the wattmeter.

0.82 x 24hr x 30 days x 0.52TNB = RM307.

I think I will make a super compact casing and hide 2 x 1080ti in office.
The rig probably will take up 450w.
I wonder got NUC that has pci-e or not...

Place in office server room. Gooding thumbup.gif

Public listed company got many process and audit, very hard.
Make a mini pc, plug in a LTE modem and hide under the table would be even easier, as long as the fan is not loud.

Yeah. Place in a shoe box. Less suspicious. But heat will be a concern hmm.gif
