QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Sep 6 2017, 10:12 AM) Yes. By selling it off and buy mining card. I assume you are using Nicehash? That's using Daggerhashimoto for ETH. yeapz. my dagger algo max at 3mhs. after this that, i get max 15-16/mhs only. not even close to that 2x mhs as stated. even so, the screen will be very laggy, kind of unusable. 2 more days to pay day, after pay day, will try install win7 and have a try again.

QUOTE(alpha33 @ Sep 6 2017, 10:08 AM) zec = equihash? eth = excavator? my gtx970 cant mine eth too. not sure why. i am running on equihash. btw, my friend is running 1060 and mining eth. maybe you have to benchmark it again? msi afterburner: reduce power, increase memory clock. thats what he did. i can mine eth, just see the profitability; using claymore

If you maxed out at 3MH/s (I assume this is not a typo), then it's Windows 10 update issue. Get the anniversary update and you are good to go. But that does not mean we fix < 100% mem controller load issue. That's an entirely diff issue.

That's an entirely diff issue. already in latest update/build allowed in windows update. but at least in this build., the nvidia "dsr/compute" is working. just that it will lag the screen and max out at 15-16mhs only. as for the mem load issue, not really know whats that. just thought of sharing what my friend did with his 1060.

The mem load thing, so far no solution. nVidia is really sly..

I only mine ETH. So, what I mentioned was only true for ETH. Whether it's normal for Equihash to have non-100% memory controller load, I'm not sure. But you can refer to this calculator: https://new.nicehash.com/profitability-calc....1¤cy=USDEquihash on GTX970 is around 292 Sol/s. That's the average performance for all GTX970 using the Nicehash. So your performance is still below the average out there. Try this: http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/p0-power-state/Sadly this does not work for Pascal GPU.

For same setup. Gtx1060/gtx1070 6 cards mixed miNing. Which one is more profitable.? Nice hash or claymore.
I was once using claymore , then I saw the estimated income is lesser to nice hash. So I have change to nice hash.
Am I making the right move?

Got a few rigs running on galax geforce gtx1060. 140mhz each
Thing is I need to pay 20% maintenance fee every month of whatever I manage to mine as I am parking my rigs in the farm.
Is it more worthy to run my own farm or 20% is fair?

The cards are all 3 years warranty so I am thinking why not. Guys 20% is too ridiculous is it? I really don't have the time and skills to manage it myself.

QUOTE(mthc @ Sep 7 2017, 09:38 AM) I'm using Nvidia. Comes with 3 years warranty. all gtx1060 are nvidia. He is asking what brand for mining, most important part is the memory. samsung based memory perform best, followed by micron and lastly hynix (true for nvidia card only, amd user please dont bash me), this is based on my experience. so if u can get a card, regardless of brand, which use samsung memory. you are in luck. most gtx1060 still available on the Malaysia market today are one with hynix, samsung memory all kena rembat already
