I heard from a friend that Sime Darby is under hiring freeze right now, but don't know until when. Does anyone know about it?

Any idea what a VP2 is entitled to for a car?

What I meant was, if you said that a VP1 gets a BMW 3 series, then what does a VP2 get as the car entitlement? am not with Sd but curious.

VP2 entitle one of the segment C car sell by SD (Ford or Hyundai & etc). But sad to tell, is those non popular model.

Would simedarby consider hiring staff family members ? Any added weight in hiring like tm tnb ?

No. It's in Sime Darby's Code of Business Conduct. Family members would not be at an advantage. You can recommend a family member, but everything else follows the usual hiring procedures.

I work in Sime Darby. Yes, currently sime darby is hiring freeze. due to poor profit last quater and cpo price was low.

Anybody else can share their working experience in sime Darby.

I applied the Executive, Internal Communications & Publications - Group Communications & Corporate Affairs through its online application on 7 a.m today and received a surprised call from the Recruitment Manager around 2 p.m.
Had an interview over the phone and he would loves to see me again. He mentioned that there will be an online assessment in which the SD HR will manage it in April. If all goes well, perhaps the hiring process will be done in June according to the questions he asked.
I was stoked. Tak sampai 12 jam, terus call. Scare the hell out of me.

No wonder my uncle never intro any of our family members. We thought he was just being arrogant...

ya 16% epf. Car dont have so much discount what i know is around rm 5-6 car and depend on what car u buy. The car brand must be distribute under sime darby only can get discount.

Car no subsidy la, only house around 6%..

Medical is one of the best in Malaysia. I just claimed everything.

I am resigning tomorrow cos i got a better offer. I dont see any future prospect in my current position.

Hi..guys, i kind of need some help to clarify things here..i already went to interview with Inokom in Kulim last month..they said if i'm shortlisted,there will be an assessment that i need to take,but they will call me first..

The problem is,i already received the email,but i didn't received any phone call from the company..

Can someone clarify to me about this issue..am i already shortlisted or hired by Inokom??..

They said that after this maybe the GM will interview me for a final asessment..Is it?
