First day i bought samsung s8 plus from Digi store (sunway pyramid).After a few hours use, there's a black dot ap0peared on middle of the screen, I was rushed to service centre there for repair. Unfortunately, I had left my phone at the centre for more than 10 hours, yet my phone still did not get a repair.
Pls think twice before u buy,and check the screen

Do anyone hav this problem?

At pyramid they told me need to wait 7 hours!! So i decline and i go to lowyat.lowyat personal told me 3 hours but they done mine in 1.5hours.its best u bring another phone so that they can sms u when its done.

What a boring review. Can't he touch a bit the interface of both phone.

Never check properly before paying?

You guys bought at physical store have the privilege of testing before commit to purchase.
Like me, I bought it at Lazada.

I told the shop I need asure no red tint or any physical defective issue. The shop agree. Lucky me first open is pretty nice.

I complete check just paid.

By the way not all shop allow this. Some need paid first just let you check and in this situation you need asure the shop manager or owner agree on one to one exchange if any defect spot. The best is find the shop agree for check first.

even if you buy online, any problem can ask for 1 to 1 exchange from Samsung.

if you know how to argue your case well, you get 1 to 1. If not you get a repair.

How to register warranty ya? Mine is pre ordr set. Just snap the proff of purchase and upload in the samsung app? Thats all?

I wouldn't mind waiting 7hrs if they did all the test needed for waterproofing.. which is still ip68. Dis lowyat center did pressure testing?

i had my screen changed and waterproofing test too at gardens sc. all done in 1.5 hours.

Yeah they done everything including water resistant testing in 1.5hours

Hey bro. U using tthe s8 without any coating or tg rite? Just wondering whether the oleophobic coating on the phone screen will wear off like the tg ? Because tg coating will be gone in a while.
