Have you guys enabled the 'apply current theme' option in the navigation bar? I found that using a black theme helps the nav bar stay black in most stock apps but in 3rd party ones the nav bar will try to match the app's colour or will be white in colour.

Hello, many of us from previous versions of the s8 duo thread have purchased blitzwolf type c cables from banggood.com. They were having a sale for those last month. Even without the sale I believe the cables were being sold for cheaper than what is available from local online retailers. It's a braided cable so it's very durable and supports fast charging without problems.

This appears to be in stock. Though I'm not sure about the difference, if any, between this and the AmpCore version of the cable which is currently​ out of stock, besides the design. Both support up to 3.0A

I think the terms of the voucher state that they can only be used for Samsung products under certain categories; phones and tablets, mobile accessories and wearables.

Guys anyone know how the register the warranty for the wireless charger I got from the pre-order? Or has it been registered automatically?

For those who want a quicker way to get to mySamsung app storage settings, just long press on the app icon, a small drop down menu will appear. Press app info and then go to storage. IMO a much quicker way than going through the main settings app.

I highly suggest you guys get the package disabler app from the play store. Allows you to disable any system processes you feel that you won't use, effectively prolonging battery life.

Yes that helps but with the package disabler app you can disable more background processes which are unnecessary to you. More than just the apps that you can find manually. For example, I don't use Samsung cloud so I disabled the service otherwise it'll be always running in the background.

Not all. A good example is the YouTube app whereby Adhell is unable to stop the ads from playing. Certain games such as asphalt 8 also lets ads through for me. But for most apps, Adhell does do a commendable job blocking adverts including in popular ones like Shazam, ookla speed test and Polaris office.

Yup that's why it only works for Samsung devices with Knox.

I too have recently purchased the wireless charger convertible. Can confirm that is charges quite quickly when paired with an original Samsung adapter ( I'm using the one from my S6e), to which I was pleasantly surprised. And I should point out that I hadn't turned on fast wireless charging. Went from 50% to 75% in about 35 mins.

I'd also like to point out that the wireless charger works with my iPad wall adapter (and possibly other non-samsung adapters as well) but the charging speed decreases rather significantly. Given the time it will successfully charge my phone to full (~4 hours from 50%) without any problems. However there is a lot less heat generated as compared to when using the original Samsung adapter and this one can easily tell the difference just by placing one's palm on the screen as it sits on the wireless charger.

Yeah. But since I don't turn on the fast wireless charging on my phone I assume the adapter has an output of 5V, 2.0A. The iPad adapter on the other hand is stated to have a similar output, however the charging speed is much slower. I guess original accessories definitely help lol.

Really? Just helped my friend get the voucher yesterday afternoon. His is also a pre-order set. Set up new account with secure folder and the voucher appeared immediately upon signing in the mysamsung app.
