QUOTE(_bib_ @ Jun 23 2017, 06:08 PM) Super happy. I just pick up my FC Congrats on your TC-P! Really just in time for Raya holidays! Immediately notice soft rattling noise driver side at low speed (maybe the infamous VSA modulator thingy) Nevertheless, drove home with big smile with the Garmin Navi Selamat hari raya everyone! Use Waze for AA or Apple Maps (or Garmin Navi) for directions back to your hometown safely! |

QUOTE(leinadntb @ Jun 25 2017, 09:32 PM) Hi guys, get my white TCP on 22/6. Yesterday when i did the reverse, the display show a blank screen with "Check your surrounding". After that shift to N gear, then shift back to R again, then the display return back to normal. Already feedback to my SA, he ask me to monitor again. Yeah, this problem very rarely happens. Only happened once in my 1 year of owning the car.Today is my 1 year anniversary of owning the Lunar Silver Metallic TC-P This post has been edited by isr25: Jun 25 2017, 09:34 PM |

QUOTE(CPURanger @ Jun 27 2017, 12:16 AM) Guys, need an opinion for 1.5 TC VS 1.5 TC-P. I see most of the stuff is cosmetics. Only two things I consider important, Air cond Duo Auto and Navigation. Is it really useful or can I live without it ? Actually can live without Dual Zone Aircond & Navigation... Unless your passenger likes different temp than you - passenger feels aircond too cold, but you feel just fine etc. Or also if you always travel in places that have terrible reception / infrequently travel to Singapore and don't want to pay roaming fees for navigation.Personally I prefer Waze or google map for GPS map, (I am an iphone user). iPhone user, you're stuck with Apple Maps if you want to use CarPlay. Android user, you can use Google Maps with Android Auto, and also Waze has a beta version out for Android Auto. Still buggy though... The ultimate reason why I chose TC-P over TC, is the headlights & aircond. Those scaly headlights This post has been edited by isr25: Jun 27 2017, 05:20 AM |

QUOTE(andyshim89 @ Jun 27 2017, 09:52 AM) that FD 1.8 sure still stock mode For a car which is already is speeding up (FD1.8), and a car which is just starting to put "pedal to the metal" (1.5TC), of course the car which is already speeding up will be faster for a while, but the 1.5TC will catch up and accelerate faster after the first few seconds. The torque and hp of the 1.5TC is higher than the 1.8.i braking at 150kmh drop to 140kmh rpm drop to 2500 like that fd1.8 is behind me..once he signal to right at the meantime i floor it..nah..cvt at 2500 goes up to 4500..the civic 1.8 already near my rear tyre.. sssiuuuuuuu... p/s: i smoke the 1.8 at uphill double lane at 160kmh..maybe he geram..hahaha If your car is only going 4500rpm, not really put pedal to the metal... if really pedal to the metal, it should be at 5500rpm until 207km/h |

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Jun 28 2017, 01:07 AM) Today my first to drive a long journey with my 1.5tcp on highway(around 400km per way), what surprise me is , i driving and pedal hard on the way going to KL 150-170km/h (i have a habit, i will reset my Trip B everytime my oil life drop 100km) , it hit 230km+- for the first time only my oil life drop 100km, at first i thought my oil life meter rosak, after round KL 2 day, with traffic jam, i can hit only 60++km in KL and the oil life drop 100km It's more like you are gaining back the lost oil life coz you are running at a proper optimum speed and temperature for the engine. If you drive long distance once in a while, you will get 1:1 oil life and mileage. On the way back , i try to monitor my oil life again , it hit 200km+- again only the oil life meter drop 100km , now my oil life is only different between 1000km from my actual milage haha, i would say if u press hard u wont get bad oil life even in highway, oil life only drop like hell if its traffic jam or short trip no matter how soft is ur right leg If everyday run highway, u can actually run more milage than the Oil Life gauge QUOTE(Ken118 @ Jun 28 2017, 02:36 AM) Hi, anyone using android auto running the waze beta compatible version? Mine one always frozen screen after start my journey a while..never can run properly. I'm using the Waze Beta for AA - which is actually version 4.24.0.113. I'm guessing you actually installed version 4.25.0.901 which although it's a Beta, it's not compatible with AA - and it has a nasty bug of crashing often...As i've said earlier, only install 4.24.0.113 for Waze Beta for AA. If indeed you are running version 113, try to open Waze directly on your phone - there might be an open dialog box (rate app, facebook login, permission screen etc) - and causing the crash on AA. |

QUOTE(Clicko220 @ Jun 29 2017, 03:08 PM) isr25, I saw somewhere in the post you can manually reset the oil life indicator? How do you do that? I thought only SC can do it. hehe 1. Press Start Button 2X - or while car is turned on & Gear at P 2. Look at HU. Press Home 3. Choose Settings 4. Choose Vehicle 5. Choose Maintenance Info 6. Press on Reset Don't reset coz your oil life is 0 - you will still void your warranty should anything happen... Go to your SC to do oil change as their system is computerised and linked. |

QUOTE(ucantseeme @ Jun 30 2017, 01:53 AM) Dear all, I've been stalking this thread starting from v4(roughly) till now. Thanks all the sifus for all the helpful information so far. I've finally decided to buy a civic and now dilemma-ing for colors. This is my first time buying a new car (been driving second hand cars), so finally get to choose a color for a car. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. You should go with the color that really gets your eye My first choice is WOP, followed by LS and Black. I don't have much experience with car so I would like to ask for advice about some drawbacks(or benefits) while going with each colors. My main concern is bout maintainace cause I heard white cars is quite hard to maintain. Would like to hear from all the sifus here. Thanks very much in advance. P/s: I currently owning a red car. QUOTE(doyok2630 @ Jun 30 2017, 04:46 AM) dear members...is the delivery date by honda malaysia usually take very long time? this is my first time buying a honda and have booked my civic tcp on 24th April and till now no news yet. my current waja and myvi doesnt take this long time to deliver at all. Any advise? though of cancelled my booking as fed up already..and find a dealer with a ready stock in yard. My SA now lazy to pick my calls and doesnt reply anymore in Wassap. It's different dealer to dealer, but the average period is 1 month. Dunno where you tried to book your car, but I often hear horror stories of people getting their cars from Kah Motor - dunno why but they seem to overpromise and under deliver... try calling around Honda dealers before going to their showroom since you already know what you want. |

QUOTE(vmh9000 @ Jul 1 2017, 09:19 PM) Light footed means normal acceleration. If you like to pedal to the metal at traffic lights etc, that will kill your FC - especially on the 1.5Driving at a constant 80-90 at federal roads and 110-120 at highways will save fuel - especially on the 1.5 This post has been edited by isr25: Jul 1 2017, 09:27 PM |

QUOTE(vmh9000 @ Jul 1 2017, 09:28 PM) driving that kind of slow speed in highway will waste my money if i drive a civic, i used to drive jazz around 120 lol Obviously you can drive faster, but don't expect 17km/l fuel consumptions Driving at 150km/h would return around 13km/l. I think I have shared this earlier, and will put this up on the FAQ. This is targeted for those who like to drive their cars until almost empty before filling up.
Forumer Woody from the 10thcivicforum did this test, and I converted his figures to metric. Gas Tank Capacity specification: 47 liters Empty Gas Tank Refuel Capacity: 55 liters Kilometers driven between when Range = 0 first reported and running out of gas: 116 km Average fuel consumption at Range=0 suggests the gas tank reserve is about 8 liters Observations: Range stays at 0 as reserve fuel is consumed. Fuel Consumption average reported goes up continually once Range=0 is reached source |

QUOTE(lordwood @ Jul 3 2017, 01:06 AM) bro ISR, you are definitely one of the very 1st batch owners when the CivicX was newly launched in Malaysia back in June 2016. LOL! My engine and chassis number are in the low 100, so ok laaa Still, I think my next car - years down the road la, coz I love this Civic - will not be a first batch car anymore. Best get a facelift + lot's of freebies and discount - I received SOME freebies and 0 discount. But it was definitely worth it coz of the above experience!
