QUOTE(facktura @ Aug 21 2017, 10:02 AM)
correct me if im wrong, but Diamond 6 is not JPJ compliance aite?
*
QUOTE(syimalifmim @ Aug 21 2017, 10:06 AM)
The * is non compliant to JPj
*
Actually yes, non compliant for the front windscreen and front windows since JPJ only allows 70% VLT. In fact, those windows already cut some light already, and you would need to get tint which are maybe 85% VLT to be in actual compliance to the JPJ code.

So far, JPJ won't really kacau our tint - never yet kena tahan tepi with Diamond 6 even with JPJ doing roadblock.

On the reverse camera, yes I agree that it's quite bad compared to my wife's HRV reverse camera. It's not really out of focus, it's just really low resolution and has a orange tinge to it.

Mine warm balance is on the warm side  dry.gif but still it looks really soft the camera, but appreciate it being real wide haha!
*
Yes, that's the correct term. Warm in colour, and very soft focus. I'm guessing they slapped the cheapest reverse camera available on the Civic as the difference between HRV and Civic reverse camera is like night and day,

Anyone else been feeling their reverse camera is getting slower and slower to start up? My car is 6 months old....7k mileage. I've tried rebooting the HU but it's not helping. The screen goes black for a couple of seconds before the image appears. Before this it was quite fast but it has been gradually getting slower.
*
Never noticed this - normally it pops out almost 1 sec after selecting the reverse gear. Don't notice it getting slower though....

Hell isr25,
So is your tint setting like below?
Front and rear: Llumar gold
Side: Diamond 6?

I don't think the JPJ will ever stop the car with this tint seletction because it is very light by naked eyes inspection. Haha....
*
Correct. I know some people want to put Diamond 6 at the front and rear screen too, but it's kinda dangerous.

Anyway, before any of you put on tints, do check with the installer whether they need to dismantle the rear seats to install the rear tint. Mine didn't need to, but some installer does this. If you don't mind, then proceed - if you do mind, there are other installers with the same tint brand that doesn't need to dismantle the rear seats.

Quite a number of people already installed with Hondata or Racechip - and a lot of people installed Racechip changed to Hondata when it came out.

Of course they claim no impact to engine longevity, but who knows smile.gif

waze 4.28.0.1 stable version was rolled out on Aug 11.
*
Now Waze for AA is focusing to improve the meter cluster direction issues on Honda. New Beta will be out soon and will report again if there are any updates.

Both of you are using the latest Android Auto and Waze - both of you are using ARM64 devices, so should use either 2.5.728603 or 2.5.728604 - so should be ok.

But since both of you are having problems - I'd recommend to:
1. Try to use the USB cable which came to your phone. Lower quality USB cables are known to cause issues with phones connecting to Android Auto (data connection issues). They have no problems in supplying power.
2. Try to flush cache for both Android Auto and Waze (Settings, Apps, Android Auto/Waze, Storage, Clear Cache, Clear Data). Uninstall Waze & Android Auto after flushing the Cache, and reinstall again.

yeah i've done all tht as you had mentioned before. sad.gif

Including the Clear Cache? What about Google Maps? Does it behave similarly to Waze too?

Don't see any problems with suddenly hang after driving a while on the bugs list though. Is it easily reproducible - as in after 10 minutes of driving or so etc?

yup all cleared and several times reinstall n change cables.
Funny thing is G.Maps works well.

Waze will lock in the location and the 1st 1-2 mins only navigation and it stays static
*
That is not hang - just the satellite/gps is not updating - I assume that you can move the map around? Apparently there are cases where the power savings mode of the phone is interfering with Waze for AA.

You need to add Waze into the exemption list for the power saving modes

Not sure for Mi5 where is it located, but I found a thread where http://en.miui.com/thread-322811-1-1.html Dunno whether it's still applicable or not smile.gif

funny part is as soon as switch to google maps, it navigate and if not using AA,Waze can run properly
*
Yup, if using Waze directly, it would not exhibit this behavior. Google Maps and Android Auto is automatically in the exemption list iinm. It's listed as one of the bugs in Waze for AA at the moment and due to the power management feature of the phones.

Unfortunately for some people, even after adding it into the exemption list, the behavior remains. Hope this will fix it for you, if not, you need to wait until Waze properly adds itself into the exemption list, or disable power saving totally.

Thanks bro! Your guide on first post helped a lot.

On side note regarding waze android auto is it possible to search address using phone instead using car touchscreen display? Still testing some possible useful features within the car.
*
Unfortunately no. Once you have connected Android Auto, the phone screen would no longer be accessible.

QUOTE(machinebear @ Aug 27 2017, 08:27 PM)
Thx to ur suggestions. My car just tinted Llumar Diamond 6 in Bandar Uda Utama. I feel inconvenient when go shopping today cos they advised me to open side window after 2 days ...
*
Normal. I just open the door to access the parking ticket - still do this every time I exit the parking lot after I wash the car at shopping complex - else there would be water streaks on the window.

When first installing any tint, it hasn't completely adhered to the window. Thus the precautionary 48 hours of not using the power windows. The rear window heater would need 2 weeks before you can use the demister.

I fuel only with RON97 due to EURO4M. Up to you to fuel up with RON95 EURO2M as our car can run on RON91 minimum. Engine and exhaust system is EURO4M though...

The 1.5T engine has been driven for more than 100k miles already - remember, it came out in the US first in 2015. So it's actually 2 years old. So far, so good.

Just took delivery of my car , have steering issues. Is not accurate and too light even at 90kmh or 120kmh. It tends to move much more than I desire and I need to compensate the other direction. Even my passenger felt it and freaked out. Driven many cars in my life never felt so risky making turns.

Any one has this issue?
*
Not sure if you really have steering issues, or you're not familiar with the electronic steering. Do stop by at a Honda SC - and do a test drive with their Civic test drive car to see - or get a friend who also drives a Civic to test your car?
