QUOTE(stevie_G @ Aug 20 2017, 01:56 PM) Saw this too but not sure if it is as good (precisely cut) as Groovy ... The person who introduced to me, had this and he said fits nicely but I haven't seen it myself yet. QUOTE(Eternalgl0ry @ Aug 20 2017, 11:37 PM) Anyone installed racechip? I am wondering about the settings in it. 1= lowest boost all the way to 7 = max and how does better ron fuel make the difference ? seriously. i Would like to know how they fix it ... Was told the Racechip actually cheaps the sensors around to gain more HP? Not sure if this is the concept or not...

QUOTE(keypad @ Aug 21 2017, 06:08 AM) I feel that my reverse camera's image quakity is kinda soft... Soft as in I wouldn't be able to make out the car number behind me if I were to engage in R gear... Anyone having the same issue? Same, reverse camera felt like its out of focus for me.

QUOTE(neotheone @ Aug 21 2017, 10:13 AM) Same for me too. was thinking of getting it checked during the service. QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 21 2017, 10:28 AM) Actually yes, non compliant for the front windscreen and front windows since JPJ only allows 70% VLT. In fact, those windows already cut some light already, and you would need to get tint which are maybe 85% VLT to be in actual compliance to the JPJ code. So far, JPJ won't really kacau our tint - never yet kena tahan tepi with Diamond 6 even with JPJ doing roadblock. On the reverse camera, yes I agree that it's quite bad compared to my wife's HRV reverse camera. It's not really out of focus, it's just really low resolution and has a orange tinge to it. Mine warm balance is on the warm side but still it looks really soft the camera, but appreciate it being real wide haha!

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 21 2017, 11:23 AM) Yes, that's the correct term. Warm in colour, and very soft focus. I'm guessing they slapped the cheapest reverse camera available on the Civic as the difference between HRV and Civic reverse camera is like night and day, Hmm, I remember the original Honda City reverse camera from Thailand was a little soft too compared to the third party I had on wife's car. Not sure if it is soft focused or low resolution perhaps. But definitely, it is way softer than the third party installed on my wife's City. Despite soft focus, I love the ultra wide angle view!

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 21 2017, 03:20 PM) So... possible? Unfortunately no... Sure can replace, but you most likely will lose the 3 angle view function unless your replacement has the same function which works with the HU.

QUOTE(keypad @ Aug 22 2017, 01:16 AM) Good to know that I'm not alone regarding the soft image of the Reverse camera.. Too bad that it's generally soft, but yeah the fisheye width is a great plus.. Anyone knows any outlet which shares the best deal for headlight wrapping/tint? Appreciate some leada for this... Watch out with these headlight tint, my previous car did those cheap ones at those non franchised tint shop, after sometime the tint "hangus" and then sticks to the headlamp making it not able to remove. (<2 years).

QUOTE(keypad @ Aug 22 2017, 10:00 AM) Noted on that... Anyone could recommend me a good tint shop then? I am looking for a reputable shop within Klang Valley for this... I was in Glenmarie yesterday and was quoted RM580 for Llumar headlight tint... 1 year warranty... Wonder if this is a good deal? Got 2 quotations from 3M Subang Jaya outlet, they offer 2 options of RM650 and RM900 package with 2 years warranty.. I did mine about 700 inclusive GST if not mistaken for headlamps and fog lamp. Headlamp is two piece cause the LED headlamp got area bulging out. Mine was from Raytech.

QUOTE(SackBoy @ Aug 24 2017, 11:48 AM) Si trim is usually USDM, at most Canada will have it but not for asia market. Even the Japanese doesn't have this trim. I remember my friend drove a Civic Si back then, it was the 7th gen before FD. He not into cars one so I guess it was originally fitted one.

QUOTE(belfong @ Aug 24 2017, 03:05 PM) I am curious in regards to the dashboard of the Civic. Can you configure such that the Tachometer (the one showing RPM) is taken off? In the new CRV, I can do it and can make it really minimalist, like such: [attachmentid=9076033] Original Dashboard: [attachmentid=9076035] You can turn off tachometer and disable the info, leaving only the speed indicator.

QUOTE(berann @ Aug 28 2017, 12:33 PM) Im using BHP RON97, few times switch to BHP RON95 thinking to save some $$. But somehow feel is not that smooth and engine louder. So stick back RON97 Wah, any differences on the fuel consumption? Using BHP Ron92 at the moment, considering if worth changing to 97 or not.

QUOTE(mugenz @ Aug 28 2017, 02:05 PM) ticking sound from under the steering is VSC modular problem? How about some sound coming from front left during uneven roads especially taking left turn into uneven road. Ticking like relay sound? That might be it... but if not most likely is dashboard vibrating =/. Mine had this noise, they tighten it then reduced but still have a bit now.

Meh, some rattle when I knock my front passenger seat...even gently... wonder where is it coming from. Earlier was thinking some items in my arm rest, then I cleared it all up still got noise, recalled when I fetch people then no sound so suspected its the front passenger seat.
