QUOTE(stinky @ Sep 7 2017, 05:15 PM) I wanted to buy Honda Wheel Lock Nut but saw in google photos alot of them actually broke off or chipped off causing it unable to remove. Are those McGard or those cap ayam? Btw even for the McGard, it is recommended to tighten and open manually, not the usual gun used.Any experience? QUOTE(hihihehe @ Sep 7 2017, 05:49 PM) skimming literally polish off some metals on the damaged part. skimming it will slightly weakened the rim(depends how badly damage it is) I see the photo up close there is some "texture" to it... if you skim it still have the "texture or that wheel will be smooth smooth finished instead? |

Btw my loan apprved already, cant wait to get my first car. Help me to decide whether raytech or ecotint tinted. As far as im concern some of the tinted got issue with gps interference. But idk which brand The Honda Ecotint package is overpriced actually, go for other tints better eg. Raytech, 3M, VKool, Llumar or HuberOptik |

Oh damn, manage to locate the rattle from my car... its the right side A pillar ._. if I knock the dashboard above the HU can hear rattle sound, but if I were to hold the A pillar then less or no rattle noise.

QUOTE(~C.W.S~ @ Sep 10 2017, 02:49 PM) Just double checked with throttle pedal fully pressed there are still about 40% covered and also exact one velcro on same pedal spot sticking the mat with car floor to prevent from bending out. The mat it is quite difficult to move around actually with velcro around the mat sticking the floor. Your pedal will sit at the edge of the mat right? I just placed mine on... looks like sitting on the edge which is why a bit worried. Also, did you remove the original mat's clip? Or you left it there. |

QUOTE(-dexter- @ Sep 10 2017, 04:44 PM) Here you go, the view from outside. Hmm, a bit skeptical about opening the A pillar though, maybe I should let my SC do it for me. But how hard is it to open up the pillar? Can pull out easily? Any hooks to watch out for other than the screw?[attachmentid=9122448] View from inside. [attachmentid=9122449] Buy this from Daiso. [attachmentid=9122456] -Slowly pull out the rubber trim from door for whole pillar size -Remove pillar screw and pull out pillar from car. -Stick foam tape to dashboard side as per pic -Install back pillar and rubber trim. Done Solved 1 civic rattling sound. QUOTE(~C.W.S~ @ Sep 10 2017, 05:08 PM) Hmm the mat should fit and bend nicely with the floor shape or you may adjust and pull the mat up a bit, let the velco do the job on sticking the mat. I do removed the original civic mat and plastic mat clips, you can take it out with gentle twist and pull around. Ah, been wondering how to remove the clip! So its twist, is it fairly easy or tight?QUOTE(vexus @ Sep 10 2017, 08:16 PM) Hmm, might consider this instead since no need open up the pillar. |

QUOTE(~C.W.S~ @ Sep 10 2017, 10:14 PM) Have to be careful as the plastic clip could be quite fragile. It is actually no tight but rather it has design that prevent it coming off easy so you will have to do a bit twist around to get it out. Is this the clip used? Like slide it apart?QUOTE(-dexter- @ Sep 10 2017, 11:13 PM) Just the screw and 1 pull out clip in center. If you have no exp in car accessories mod then better just refer back to your SC. Goodluck! Guess so, or maybe get the one recommended earlier too |

QUOTE(wyyew @ Sep 12 2017, 09:18 AM) i also done coating . thinking to do PPF later as coating also get scratches on bumper and site mirror. So far , coating make me easier to wash the car. Yeah, coating definitely has better oleophobic so dirt don't stick as easily, but if the watermark is left there eventually will etch in also. |

QUOTE(appleyor @ Sep 12 2017, 10:11 PM) silver color. nope, i did ask the guy how come the rain mark n water spots are so obvious when the car dries after the rain, he told me that that is why we have to wash the car at least once in a week all the while i thought coating would keeps the car clean...did not do enough homework before doing that QUOTE(TNTroXxor @ Sep 12 2017, 10:15 PM) The only reason I'm considering getting a coat for car is so that I don't have to wash it every damn week lol. Thank god I read this But with the coating its easier to maintain the car by washing, I mean less effort during the wash required |

QUOTE(~C.W.S~ @ Sep 17 2017, 09:05 PM) Oh you need to turn the middle switch so it unlocked and then you can gently pull out the clip. Actually if you didn't remove the clip also can put the trapo mat? Just went to try with vertical or horizontal position of the middle switch... unable to "gently" pull out the clip But then again, actually no need remove also can use the mat la... was thinking if remove then no bulge at the back haha... Found this from another forum, how to unlatch the bottom part tho? This post has been edited by celciuz: Sep 17 2017, 09:24 PM |

QUOTE(wyyew @ Sep 18 2017, 03:10 PM) hi all So far drove up to 120 km/h... car not yet 1000 km despite > 1 month haha! But it feels alright for me. What car were you driving before this though?do you mind to share existing tyres MCT 5 the max speed u all drive? not a racer without road safety. As I tested 130km/h feel the tyres seem no biting the road and it feel like floating . tyre pressure follow the honda guide ~>160kmh. I aslo feel short distance braking no safe as well. |
