which was lousy wear rating where it wore so fast, clocked less than 30k km with full rotations
And better wet grip as well which from the last one was somewhat lacking.

QUOTE(sunami @ Jun 13 2017, 06:07 PM) What size is your tyre? If you're looking for comfort and quietness I recommend cc6 very low noise but very soft as well.. my car low and now on cc6 I'm hitting bumps that I never used to hit on the ep200 |

QUOTE(regnox @ Jun 14 2017, 12:15 PM) This size ep300 and cc6 not available for you.. hmm..im using gr100 right now..seem overrated about this tire as well.. If quiet you're looking for can try turanza gr100 or uc6 continental and primacy 3st which to me is the best. I used gr100 marginally better but pimracy 3st is next level |

Was using EP200 until changed to Hankook Kinergy EX H308 due to balding and deep pothole inflicted sidewall bulge. Used for 40+k km. Preffered EP200 over CC5 wrt fuel economy and also the Hankook Kinergy EX H308 which regrettably was not as grippy in the wet and less than acceptable on dry. Had it not been for the bulge, would have used it until 50+k km. Too bad I changed to the Hankook else would have gone for this. The EP200 holds great in negotiating curvy uphill incline exit from Seramban highway on to Besraya at no more than 70-75km/h even in the wet. Don't even dare go above 60km/h on the same with the Hankook even when dry.

QUOTE(regnox @ Jun 14 2017, 01:48 PM) Agreed, you should go for primacy 3st in that case.. once you use this I believe you will not change again ahahha haha..but if the donut is too exp..i rather use the money to invest in soundproofing...at least it last for some time.. rite bero? But abit pricey and if you take corners very fast finish these tires. |

For me the ep200 provided more grip than I expected from an eco tyre in the dry. And in the wet as well it performed excellent, again for its price range. But when the tires wore off and thread got low which happens sooner than you would expect. The wet grip becomes terrible and skids all about very dangerous.. hopefully this ep300 no longer has his issue as it's design seems to hold the thread pattern longer hence increasing longevity .

QUOTE(acbc @ Jun 13 2017, 06:08 PM) Agreed. Been using EP200 for 30k. Ride was better during earlier 10k - 15k compared with previous stock tyre, Bridgestone Turanza ER370. During 2nd period tyre became noiser & noiser. Dry grip remain but wet grip decreasing especially during corner. Notice crack on outer thread on all 4 tyres. Sigh. Fuel efficiency top notch all the way especially for long distance. Changed to Turanza ER300 after 3 years. Not plan to replace with EP200 but the shop said no more EP200 stock because EP300 will be out soon (last 2 months talk). Turanza ER300 Ecopia quieter & more comfort than EP200. Hope it'll remain after 10k ride. Cross finger. This post has been edited by samurai_ghost: Jun 27 2017, 04:22 PM |

I have bought 4 donut at rm 150 each and using it on my saga flx for a week now. Quite cheap for new tyre. Drove like 3 times now back and forth from genting and batang kali road that usually used to test new car.
My verdict as amature driver saying that this tyre not suitable for high speed cornering like genting road. Felt like flying abit. FC is quite ok. Wet grip and water planning is ok i think since i drove slowly on genting road when raining. When i drove on dry and new tarmac road, quite low noise. Haven't test it on highway but i think that it will be good enough. For rm 150 bucks, i can say this tyre is good for low usage and city cars. Will give better review after a month after i "cook" this tyre a bit. |

QUOTE(Mrsaitama @ Oct 28 2017, 12:00 PM) Sorry bro for late reply. I have tried to test my tyre for wet road but unable to..no raining action at all during my travel for 1 week offday that i have taken..really hot!!It's V rating but i have tried to run at 150 kmph on dry highway and i really felt like im flying. Seriously not fun at all..i felt like i have no control on my car but at 120+ still good and got control. I drove solo with empty car when i tried it. Other than that, tyre noise increase bit. Others part seem ok and good enough. Travel up and down from genting more than 20 times already. |

Anyone know the price and share some review? Thanks Hey there! I got mine of the same size at service centre for around 270/pcs - changed all 4 pcs 3 weeks ago. My ride is the 'king' of hybrid So far, as with all / any new tyres regardless of brand or type, very quiet and grippy. I can't comment much about it, as it's new and plus I'm not any professional driver (nor are anyone here though they may speak as such) - so I can just share the price / layman opinion. I've noticed that my "gliding" speed reduces faster compared when I had my Toyo rubbers, but again that could be due to the grippy new compounds rather than this new tyres have higher rolling resistance. Also, the roads on which I "noticed" that difference might be different, so again kind of subjective. Regardless, I think it's a good choice simply because it is the only rubbers out there that is of the latest design. E.g. XM2 is already 3 yrs old? CC6 is not as new; same with others. So on that reason alone, I made my decision to go EP300. New thread design + new compound materials , etc . new This post has been edited by JKOL976: Nov 17 2017, 02:59 PM |

i call up a few tyre shops and ask for price on ep300 & cc6, seems like ep300 is cheaper by rm10~rm15/tyre.
But frankly speaking, i observe on the road there is a lot of conti tyre(cc5/cc6) tyre compare to Bridgstone(ep200/300). May be because Vios default tyre is conti. For normal driving/family driving, i believe entry level tyre is good enough, comfort and quite is important. if cornering grip is lousy then drive a little low speed during corner to counter it lo....lol For aggressive driving, then it may need a better grip tyre. CC6/ep300 not suitable. |

Just replaced my EP200 195/55R15 to EP300 @ RM170/pc. Stiffer Side Wall improves body roll & better rubber improves wet grip. Feeling like lowered to 50 Aspect Ratio 👍🏻

with 3pcs 4217 and a 4317 on my wheels, i can say this ep300 offers good bang for the buck. i bought 165per donut( dunno that cheap or what ).good grip for dry of course and wet at normal highway speed.Fuel consumption not really sure, can say sh*t about that with our current fuel price up and down inconsistently.
but one thing i surely firm, this tyre is frickin’ noisy especially on old/faded tar road.some says because of it’s pattern. overall oklah.with sport spring and anti roll bar, you can layan corner edi at high speed with this tyre.just my 2cents. |

i've been using EP200 size 175/65R14 for a few years now. Now i want to try out EP300, i was told that EP300 doesn't come in this size. So then fine i said i want EP200 instead, but then was told that EP200 has stopped production as it is replaced by EP300. Asked me to go with EP150 instead.
in dilemma now which tyre to take, as i don't want to go with EP150 as it is inferior to EP200. any recommendations? |

Hehe bought mine today
At welldone tyre plus, Bukit mertajam, Pulau Pinang. Wanted test this out, and also my wallet cannot buy PS3 dy hahaha...Replaced my 90% used PS3... Botak liaoo and also old.. Bought 195/50/R15 0118 batch RM150.94 each excluding GST. First impression. Quite silent, i feel mcm more quieter than Ps3, Car feels alot lighter, maybe due to less RR. Initial grip feel, surprisingly good on dry/wet. Storming today. Car feels more "fluffy". Sidewalls quite soft. Didnt push the car into any hard corners yet. My bro too changed 4 donuts from toyo nanoenergy to ep300 205/65/16 Will update more after goreng These new rubbers abit more This post has been edited by VictorKeong: May 12 2018, 11:40 PM |

changed 4 pcs 205/55/16 ep300 for my waja in last april (clocked to date +- 5000km)
dry grip is up to par rolling resistance is significant lower compare to my previous tyre (neuton nt8000) emergency braking grip is sufficient wet grip is still promising - cruising 100km/h during heavy rain (wish it remains when reaching 20,000km) my 2 cent, its value for money (1k for 4 donut including B+A) |

QUOTE(Hantu641 @ Oct 30 2017, 03:13 AM) Sorry bro for late reply. I have tried to test my tyre for wet road but unable to..no raining action at all during my travel for 1 week offday that i have taken..really hot!! hi bro, I am also considering EP300. Can you update us on yours after about one year of use? It's V rating but i have tried to run at 150 kmph on dry highway and i really felt like im flying. Seriously not fun at all..i felt like i have no control on my car but at 120+ still good and got control. I drove solo with empty car when i tried it. Other than that, tyre noise increase bit. Others part seem ok and good enough. Travel up and down from genting more than 20 times already. |

Brigestone EP300 at rm135 - only till today!
I was writing on another post on the topic of the camber screws, and since the shop carries Brigestone EP300 at a very good price, I'd just like to share it here: " 3 years ago I also kena from Wxng Hxng in Bukit Kemuning, their tyre price was good, but asked me the same thing saying my camber screws need to be changed somemore must be in one pair end up paying extra rm95 (per piece or in pair i forgot). Just now I just changed all 4 tyres again, in Seri Kembangan, there is this Malay shop Autohaus KL, today is the last day of their Raya promotion and I got Continental CC6 195/55R15 for rm170 (normal price would go back to RM200). They also carry Brigestone EP300 at rm135 (normal price 195). In the end I just need to pay the tyres and rm30 for alignment. I was waiting to see if they would do the camber screw scam on me (since I'm a new customer) but they didn't even mention it. I also told them to check my brakes, they checked and say everything is ok-seems very honest! I most likely will go back there next time. To all dishonest shops, this is what you'd get: people will bad-mouth you for every dishonest act that you performed, and honest shops will get prompted by people who appreciate them. I think I should mention their address so you can give them a try, and report to us if your experience differ: Autohaus KL No 1, Jalan BPP 5/8, Pusat Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan. Phone: 8940 0200 " This post has been edited by t1231: Jun 30 2018, 04:33 PM |

I also know that Klang has the cheapest tyres but quite far from me, this shop is just 2 km from my place so I'd rather do it here. My main point is: I felt they didn't even try one bit to con me to do something unnecessary! About that Wxng Hxng shop, throughout these few years after I went there, I'd read that not only me but many other customers who went there left similar comments-don't tell me this is pure coincident. In the Autoworld forum, their prices are usually one of the lowest in all categories, maybe using the low prices to lure people and then use the camber screws to get more income-of course, just my suspicion, but, to the rest of the customers: you are free to infer. I may be completely wrong, but just want to share other threads written by other ppl: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4185126 https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3352308/+20 This post has been edited by t1231: Jul 1 2018, 06:42 PM |

Changed my Gen2 CPS all 4 tyres 195/55/R15 from Dunlop D05 to EP300 last month (last gst holiday lol), changed at weng heng for rm128/piece.
Still yet to do 1,000km, but so far i notice it's easier to move from standstill, i guess this is what it means to have lower rolling resistance. But it also makes me feel a bit more nervous when cornering, it just doesn't make me feel as confident, scared lose grip and terbabas kinda feel. I dunno if it's because it's still new yet to break in properly or memang liddis, i hope it's the former. Probably won't get another EP300 next time, not for mildly fun car like Gen2 at least. |

It'll improve slightly once the tyres break in but ecopia aren't grippy performance tyres so don't expect to have grip when you push your car around corners bro. Ecopia is a decent tyre for normal driving. Yea, i think my next tyres would be PS3.But rm128 is pretty affordable. My friend paid rm148 per piece. And yea, rm128 is very good price, hence why i decided to go for this, also to quench my curiosity about EP300. If i got a myvi, vios, they perhaps EP300 is very good. I guess it's due to softer sidewall that gives you the nervous feel? I'm driving gen2 also, last time when changing from stock Sime Tyre to Falken Ziex 912, immediately I feel nervous when going to small roundabout near my office, the car feel "buang" when I do cornering, even the inferior Sime Tyre feels more stable. So I read online it's due to soft sidewall, so I increased the pressure to 34psi when cold, got little improvement but still not the feeling I like. Gen2 seems very sensitive on tyre sidewall as other cars I drive don't have such huge feeling difference...Still yet to do 1,000km, but so far i notice it's easier to move from standstill, i guess this is what it means to have lower rolling resistance. Yes, but can't help it, Gen2 too fun to throw corners around and still feel in control, so not always drive like unker lol. I guess i know now to not get EP300 again for it. Gen2 deserves UHP tyres. |

Installed EP300 on Waja at the front during Lazada promotion. Was evaluating and deciding whether to put the same at rear but after a week, decided not to do it. The sidewall is too soft , feel the same also , nervous when cornering even compared to my aged Michelin. Moved the EP300 to the back and installed new Michelin PS3 at the front. Not the best setup, but have to live with it now. EP300, RM 130 while PS3 is RM240 each for 195/55/15. EP300 is best bang for buck but not for mild spirited driving.

QUOTE(mot88 @ Sep 30 2018, 03:06 PM) Installed EP300 on Waja at the front during Lazada promotion. Was evaluating and deciding whether to put the same at rear but after a week, decided not to do it. The sidewall is too soft , feel the same also , nervous when cornering even compared to my aged Michelin. Moved the EP300 to the back and installed new Michelin PS3 at the front. Thanks for your comments, was actually thinking to fit EP300 for my gen2 in future before you and tokdukun's comment. Last year also thought of fitting it on my Polo Sedan as well, but I ended up and satisfied with more expensive Yokohama ES32 after reading so many good comments overseas. |

Ecopia is said to reduce fuel consumption, otherwise theres no reason to use this tyre no?
because so far most comments here is about its handling etc, which is not this tyres strong point |

Just Change from Ep300 to ES32 today due to discomfort ride, very disappointed with the quality where i only used for 1 year plus , car start to vibrate and found multiple bulges (Swell) on Tyre.
Changed to ES32 and everything seems resolved. This post has been edited by gn555999: Jan 4 2019, 05:31 PM |

What's your ride rim width and the EP300 tyre size?Changed to ES32 and everything seems resolved. I find this to be common when the tyres shodded are wider than recommended ie beyond the rim's width. Whenever going pot holes esp this may have a tendency to occur. This post has been edited by halcyon27: Jan 5 2019, 02:04 PM |

Rim size would be 15" diameter with rim width 6.0" JJ or narrower like 5.5" JJ? 195 is ok on 6.0" but on 5.5" the tendency to bulge if kena pothole is higher. I've experienced this on 195/55/R15 on an older City and my rims was 5.5". When changed to a 6.0", it's ok.This post has been edited by halcyon27: Jan 6 2019, 05:12 PM |

QUOTE(legendaryNOKIA @ Jan 8 2019, 06:15 PM) Serious? Where you get the price?I been survey few shops, mostly is higher than Dunlop J5 about 40 ~ 50. Unless you are referring to EP150. Still a lot of shop carry EP150. |
