finally kill and capture my first Rathalos! Woot. But now got pwn by Diablos hahaha.

you can fight it again. for faster farming, repeat doing investigation. you can find it at resource center. just go through the list, select quest with kulu ya ku as target. and then go to your quest board to accept it.

Yesterday tried few hours and finally slayed Teostra, was thinking why the fck so hard to hunt. Thn just realize i took the wrong bow, using Rank 4 fire element weapon lol

bring fire mantle to fight it will make the fight a lot more easier

you'll need to constantly upgrade/change your equipment based on the weakness of the monster you're hunting
Maybe you need to upgrade your great sword? or try some other weapon that's faster?
Radobaan actually is one of the easier monster in Rotten Vale

Finally defeat Xeno last night, waaaay a lot more easier to kill when solo it with my faithful Palico, was kinda puzzled that no one join after SOSing, but it turn out to be a blessing in disguise
2P is the hardest IMO, as both our Palico can't deal enough DPS, and you're sharing the same 3 life pool, with the monster difficulty adjusted to x2.6, 3 or 4P is easier, but I find it a bit chaotic and can't really predict the behaviour of the monster

really hate fighting Kirin

Even my kirin full armor set and thunderproof mantle didn't help much against tempered kirin haha. Slow and steady je, no rush. Takes a bit of time but yeah.

Just dont get yourself struck by Kirins lightning. Else dead. RIP

I have tried other weapon but I still prefer Great Sword only and its hard when hunting flying monster lol.


and Odoragon set is so good looking on female hunter.

Bring flash pod and 10 flash bug. Set crafting in radial menu. Craft when flash pod left 1/3 so you won't have to equip again. Flying monster fly one time free true charged one time.

Not exactly.

It's more like meet and kill more new monsters.

but early in the game, that is the only way. if we do not progress the story, new map will not unlock and thus locking away new monsters and features.

Well, bring everything you need. Extra poo, extra flashbug, extra ammo, extra bomb, tranq bomb, trap, might and def juice, max hp pill, poison pill, nulberry etc. If u can capture, do it. Faster that way.

in any case, do not fight tempered mob with multi scale hp alone. I've done that and regret it. 45 minutes of wasted time to kill b52. They abandoned me...

Before that...go follow kirin's footprints (don't hit kirin) to unlock more tempered elder dragon investigations, unlock at least 8 of them to be safe.

Here's my tip, bring thunder proof mantle and vitality or rocksteady..if you play melee best is to hit 1-2 times on the head and run, repeat. Remember don't rush...if there are two lines of thunder about to hit you and you have nowhere to run, try to run towards kirin and stay beside lol.
I play insect glaive most of the time so sometimes I will jump straight to it's head and hit it.

You can coop the whole game even in story mode. Your friend will need to wait for you to finish your story cut scene before they can join.
