Anyone wanting to try out Sonic Gear Morro 200, be warned! This is a lousy piece of hardware where the designers only focused on it being USB powered. Bought one (for RM19) attacted by that and its slim design - now regretting it like hell! Tested it on a few PCs with Soundblaster and Xonar cards - it produces a continuous crackling noise even when the cards are silence. And when playing music, it is flat and kills the music (no oomph - compared to my old RM20 no-brand speakers). Don't think Morro 210 will be any better. I was advised that low-ed SG stuff is like that but the higher end ones will not have this problem.

Bro, your Morro only consider 'chicken' speaker that is not deserve to pair with any sound card....

Yesterday i bought the Armaggeddon 5 Can somebody help me with this??
1) When i turn off the speaker (by press the button behind the subwoofer) a sound like "POP" came out from the speaker, is it normal??
2) What is the correct way to turn off the speaker?? Is it turn off the power button first (by press the button behind the subwoofer) or switch off the electric directly??

Normal...due to chicken amp design...a lot of speaker in this price range suffer the same problem. 2. up to you, doesn't matter...they adi expected you will switch off the electric directly since they placed the switch behind the sub... So no need to worry about that, enjoy your music... This post has been edited by coolkwc: May 29 2008, 03:58 PM
