QUOTE(Snoopie @ May 1 2021, 12:07 PM) Hence do buy low sell high only work for short term, and not long term? and a lot of people say after sell, wait until the price drop. But what if it doesn't drop? Like now, we don't see 190K btc (which is just few months back). Open for discussion My personal experience: in terms of profit, I would have made a lot more if I had just hodl instead of trying to time the market. For newcomers entering the market now, it is harder to hodl. If they had bought BTC at $64k, they would be panicking still. During current dip, a few forumers predicted BTC would go below 40k, and crypto marketcap would be wiped out by 50%. The preferable time to buy is when prices are red, not when everything is ATH green.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ May 1 2021, 12:17 PM) Most likely you stand to gain more from buying alts like defi or even bsc shitcoins. My advice would be very different if bitcoin is currently at $4,000 in March 2020 but now btc is at $58,000 so that's something to think about Bitcoin I think might hit $100-200k, maybe even 300k during this bull run peak which I think will be end of this year or Jan 2022. And of course the bear market will be equally glorious; 80-90% correction which may very well last 2-3 years like the 2018-2020 bear market due to the involvement of institutions. inb4/institutionsareourfriends Trading on the other hand is a totally different ball game. 99% never became profitable traders even after a number of years Personally I'm not too concern about the dip because bitcoin still the main driver. What I'm more concerned about is how government around the world is starting to dip their hands into bitcoin, namely China and USA. It seems like they want to grab it and hold it back before it becomes a bigger problem in the future.

QUOTE(ktek @ May 1 2021, 10:11 PM) now time is 10pm he drop 4.86% compare to yesterday 10pm Yeah... That's why it's very hard to use. It's hard to monitor these coins when it's behaving like that.

QUOTE(Snoopie @ May 1 2021, 12:07 PM) Actually want to ask, how do people play buy low sell high? Example buy 1 btc in early days: Bought at 190K Sold at 230K Profit 40K Then see the market strong, buy at 240K (190K+40K=230K). End up top up +10K to enter back into crypto market. Hence do buy low sell high only work for short term, and not long term? and a lot of people say after sell, wait until the price drop. But what if it doesn't drop? Like now, we don't see 190K btc (which is just few months back). Open for discussion woah this was actually a great point to ponder. This too got me thinking, alot.. thanks bro.. I'm guessing if i actually sold at a high (made profit), and subsequently bought the dip along with additional units / btc from the profit i made.. I believe i would have made more than if i just hodl and not sell. (cause i keep adding units) thanks again for the question heeee

Need use technical analysis and only buy at the support, sell at resistance.. If support broken need to find the next support to average down or cut loss/sell portion. Of course it will drop impossible one stock/crypto only go up never correction one. Like bitcoin it goes up with higher low higher high

E.g. Use 190K to buy ~0.8 BTC. Meaning not using your profit to re-invest
