the key is diversifying. dont put all your eggs in 1 basket.
this video could be a good guide to build your portfolio

Thanks for the video

I'll diversify to ETH and OMG tomorrow when I get my Ledger Nano. Any recommended exchange? I heard bittrex and bitnance is ok for alt coins.

Now im wondering should I transfer all my coins to hardware wallet ? If so then to trade I need to transfer back to exchange. Quite troublesome.

it really depends on you.
if you are long term investor, just put in the btc u need to buy the amount of the alts u need and move them all off to your own wallet. dont keep on the exchange in case anything happens.

if you are short term trader, buy low to sell high etc, then just leave the coins on the exchange.

personally i have both, btc eth long term on my nano, some btc and eth to buy coins on the exchange to trade.

Thanks for the advice

I just bought and sent 0.1 eth to my Bittrex account but Luno says the deposit is processing

Hope everything is ok when I wake up tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Hmm my Bittrex still hasn't received the ETH that I sent using Luno. How long does it take? It's already 7 hours. Starting to get worried

Luno still says processing.... This is the address and it's empty...

have't transfer eth from Luno yet, but did you have a transaction address(tx) for it?
*
I don't think so...

I just clicked Send and keyed in my Bittrex ETH wallet address. Then it says sent and status in Luno is "processing"

I read the ETH transaction speed is much faster than Bitcoin, so why is it taking so long?

Same time as yours from official site, DHL sent the shipment to broker in KLIA. Should be for custom clearance, but no news yet.

I ordered my Ledger on Sunday (2 days ago), and DHL sent notification saying the shipment already reached delivery centre in KL. Current status is "delivery by end of day"

QUOTE(johnseamus @ Dec 5 2017, 09:22 AM)
I've transferred ETH few times from luno to mew and it just takes minutes . If it's  over 7 hrs , you should contact them about it
*
Ok. I sent a email to them. I also heard that CryptoKitties are causing this congestion? But 7 hours is a long time...

QUOTE(korangar @ Dec 5 2017, 09:27 AM)
if it is still in processing, chances are Luno still not yet proceed with the transactions. ETH usually takes only minutes to confirm. You can check on the address for the status - "https://etherscan.io/tx/0x34169e833bb6c3bee5721e749a8c3ff6854ecb457f83197d9e2181b724da87b1". if you have the tx, can check it here, just use your own.
*
Ok... I'll hope for the best I guess. I just wanna buy some OMG token. Maybe I will try using BTC instead.

Same problem I'm facing. Etherscan isnt even displaying the transaction. I think Luno hasn't processed it yet.

People say it's cause of the kitties clogging the network

That makes me wonder. If OMG is dependent on Ethereum platform, then does it mean they face the same problems and will have bottleneck whenever the main ether network has issues?

People complaining about frozen ETH transfers are getting mass down votes in Reddit Ethereum claiming they are from "FUD ETH haters"

Madness. My ETH from Luno still no trace of being processed after more than 12 hours

You can. But they have control of your private key. If they got hacked or they steal your coins, you can never recover your lost coins.

almost 24 hour and my ETH still stuck in limbo. No update on the blockchain, nothing. Just sitting at processing status in Luno.

Oh well. My cousin just deposit <10k to Luno and it appeared after 10 mins. Immediately moved the money to a hardware wallet after buying BTC at market price. Not sure why some of you have delays.

Weird, there's really no tx id. And Luno's still processing? Don't tell me Luno haven't even made the send request to the blockchain and its still 'processing' on their side?

Hi guys. I am planning to ride this train but I am more interested in IOTA.

Is it possible to invest in it at the moment in Malaysia and if yes then how?
*
Buy BTC using local exchange like Luno or buy it from locals

Send BTC to exchange that sells IOTA

Buy IOTA

Read the first post as well for detailed guide

Almost 48 hours, my ETH transfer is still stuck in Limbo. Luno replied my email, they just said they are aware of the issue and try to solve it with their engineering team

And people said BTC sucks... At least I can make transaction in less than 15mins

Can someone guide me how the sell order works in Luno exchange? I have never tried that before, only used instant buy and sell (noob that time), thanks

Left side red colour is selling price and availability of BTC
Green colour is current demand for buying price

So u just masuk the price you want and how much you want to buy
