I missed buying BTC since it was 1 BTC = 1 USD.

I bought some BTC and stupidly used it to bet Dota 2 and CSGO matches when it was 1 BTC = 600 USD last year.

Now I see its 8000 USD for 1 BTC.

Is it too late to enter now?

Probably some stupid questions I'm asking

So I said I would go into Bitcoin last week when it was around $7000, but I didn't know Luno had to wait 3-5 days to approve my account. Finally they approved and I bought some today (around MYR500~). Considering to buy more but I'll take a step at a time. I haven't even fully understand how to withdraw and whether I need to pay tax on my profits. Also thinking whether I should buy a hardware wallet, heard that its safer to keep coins there rather than in online exchanges?

Am also trying to diverse my portfolio by investing in some Forex like AUD and EUR. I just don't feel much confidence about the local economy as days goes by.

Check out @lunomoney’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/lunomoney/status/935768181225947136?s=09

Sorry about that. Our system seems to be under heavy traffic load. Engineering aware of the issue, will update when there is more information.

Expected.. now what to do.. .thanks for the update. For someone trading on Luno, I'm clearly not tracking their social media page.

Not sure. I'm newbie as well. The only time I bought bitcoin was last year when 1btc = 600USD to buy my VPN subscription. I used VyrWox then... And transferred it to my coinbase account

Then I finally bought some again 2 days ago and now server down. I also made a new deposit this morning.

Now I need to learn how to make a paper wallet... Or should I invest in hardware wallet? But the sake is over zzz

because they bring disruptive system that challenges conventional system, tapping into market worth trillions, has a great long term plan, building an ecosystem which is much needed, team is very focused on product, does not care so much about token price because the reward will be on the staking part.

above all i get to stake, leave it and forget about it.
this is the few projects which will generates real cashflow btw, which will attract institutional investor to purchase and stake.

in all if you were given the chance to earn some fees on Paypal and VISA when they are a few months old few years back will u buy in ?

easiest way,
buy BTC, send to exchange (Binance/Bittrex/Poloniex), use btc to buy OMG coins
also can use Shapeshift

optional : withdraw it out to your wallet, if u dont trust exchanges

hmm... I have BTC in Luno

Which is the best way?

Hello everyone,
I had developed an app to ease your life on monitoring both luno / coinhako price.
Both prices will be displayed in USD & Myr and compared to CMC bitcoin price
You can click refresh and color indicator will indicate when arbitrage is allowed

Currently I'm surveying the market for the demand for the apps, further development only will implement when a certain amount of people bought this app.
Such as:
- alts coin arbitrage
- Push notification when arbitrage is allowed
- Multiple exchange monitoring for BtC

Android user can purchase it here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...setech.CryptoMy

IOS version coming out soon

So I'm gonna invest more into cryptos since I'm starting to diversify my savings

from research, I pretty much have to get a hardware wallet already, since I'm investing more than 4k++ and can go up more

is that right? I'm currently using Luno and my coins are all there right now. Someone is selling the Ledger Nano S for rm400 a few pages back, but the official website is only 58 euro + (RM282)? should I just buy from the official website instead?

edit: just realized DHL shipping is 18 euros... might just get it from local forumer then. If anyone has a spare Ledger, do PM me ya

I just placed an order for Ledger Nano S, paid RM397.75

Not sure why I chose DHL International Premium but in the invoice it says "Shipwire International Premium"...

Did I do something wrong?

So I'm gonna invest in OmiseGO token. Do I need any ETH or I'm safe just buying OMG tokens?

You can just buy OMG tokens now, but when you want to sell/move them you need some gas money (ETH).
*
Ok. So to recap:

1) Send BTC using Luno/Ledger Nano S to OMG supported exchange
2) Buy ETH using Luno/exchange
3) Buy OMG tokens using BTC
4) Transfer to My Ether Wallet
5) Transfer to Ledger Nano S (?)

Is this correct?

What about ETH? I feel like Luno rates memang cekik darah because there's no way to find out until you deposit (and get fücked).

Luno doesn't have ETH exchange for now.

Thought of moving over to Remitano.

Luno has BTC/ETH exchange now.. but no MYR/ETH

DHL sent me notification, my Ledger Nano S arriving tomorrow. That's super fast, even faster than local postage and it was cheaper than getting from forumer

Reading more about ETH and OmiseGo is really interesting. Right now 90% of my portfolio is BTC and 10% ETH, I don't think that's safe at all, especially with CME futures coming in and I have a significant sum of money to warrant buying a hardware wallet. Might be worth buying OMG since it's really undervalued now, assuming if it delivers it's milestones and promises

This cryptocurrency scene is so interesting. As a traditional economics student everything is so fascinating and full of potential. Only thing is I don't know how trustable these companies are.

one question. what the heck is paper bitcoin?
*
Means no actual bitcoin is involved

It's pure speculating based on actual bitcoin value

Just like bank paper gold investments that you can purchase
