Made my first deposit with Luno today. I followed user charlescheesepie's example and just deposited RM100 to understand the whole process. I was quite nervous and kept checking the recipient reference number that Luno asked me to enter.

Anyway I used Maybank2U to transfer at 1:16pm.
I received Luno's confirmation email at 2:59pm.

So that's less than 2 hours. After that I bought BTC using the instant option.

Anyway this gives me more confidence to add more. Too bad I don't have much funds to play with crypto and I missed the big BTC wave this year. tongue.gif

Don't use Instant buy... You're wasting a lot on fees

Right now I have 70% in BTC, and now invested OMG for long-term and planning to get some iota since it's having a correction now.

who's the one who strongly support OMG? any comment on the price now?

LOL

why lol? OMG is a long term investment since they are at early stages. Roadmap also havent achieve yet.

Besides, almost every alt coin is on downswing since people are pumping into BTC to ride the wave

Maybe it's easier to say that OMG is not for day traders.

Anyways, I bought in IOTA at 4.30 and OMG at 8.50

Gonna stash them long term

Right now my BTC holding is 70%... With the futures coming, not sure if I wanna sell out and quit BTC. It's going to be either a spectacular crash or insane skyrocket climb

It's generally not a good practice to keep coins at exchange. Time and time again, we always see hacks and attacks. Bitfinex already got attacked twice and yet people still trust them. I won't give them a dime and will choose other exchange

Keep your coins in software or hardware wallet, not exchange

Any attempt to crash the BTC price would be swallowed up by hungry hodlers

This is what I believe now. I mean any of us here would gladly buy up BTC if it crashes

Any news about your ETH Transfer? xD I didn't join the LTC train... got stuck with BTC and the traffic is super slow.

My ETH finally transferred on Friday... It only took around 96 hours lol

Luno is terrible but they are also the easiest way to buy crypto in Malaysia (face palm)

Still can join. I do buy and sell for short term and also some for long term. Still not too late.

Bought several LTC coins at USD149.963 this morning for short term and now making profits about USD11.53 for each coin. Still growing.

I got some BTC left on my Bittrex exchange... I guess I'll convert some to LTC

On Luno, you have to make a deposit in order to determine the fees they incur.

For instance, I want to buy some ETH. Luno does have a ETH/ MYR chart but the prices shown don't include the fees.

Assuming Luno's rate is at RM1970/ETH. I deposit RM1970 to purchase an ETH. Luno would then quote me RM2020/ETH which shows a RM40 difference from the chart.
Bittrex is a fuck!ng scam. They are holding our funds, failing to verify accounts and then leaking our passports online.

I have like 30 units of OMG in bittrex... Just started verification process yesterday, hopefully I can take then out...

Either sell it to locals who accept MYR

or convert it to BTC, send to Luno and convert to MYR

My Bittrex enhanced verification failed. Now have to submit manual verification through support ticket...

Exchanges that allow deposit but deny withdrawal is damn unethical. F

cannot withdraw? i withdraw neo no problemĀ  blush.gif

It says basic accounts cannot withdraw. Must do Basic or Enhanced Verification. Problem is their Basic verification relies on public database, they can't match our name and address online and they want us to submit passport/IC/Driving license + selfie.

Now need to wait 7 business days. I have more than 1k there and I don't like how my money is tied to the exchange. Damn

Man, I looked at Bittrex twitter and some people complaining that their verification issue and support ticket has been outstanding since more than 60 days ago...

Looks like I have to prepare to lose my money

For those reading this, DO NOT choose Bittrex. First time seeing an exchange allowing unlimited deposit but completely banning withdrawal without verification
