cant brain why OP wanna cheat to manipulate benchmarks, their phones are essentially the best in terms of software optimization.. But yeah they still did it anyway and got caught, yet again.
"Do NOT Trust OnePlus 5 Benchmarks in Reviews – How our Review Unit is Grossly Cheating at Benchmarks." https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5-be...eating-reviews/ QUOTE Fool me Once, Shame on Me; Fool me Twice, Shame on You It is a bit upsetting that it has gotten to the point where we have to call out the same company twice for manipulating benchmark scores. The fact that all of this was done on review units as well further exacerbates the issue: this cheating mechanism is aimed at maximizing performance and making the device look better or faster in performance sections of reviews. The targeting and manipulation system was packaged in pre-production units sent to journalists who will base their findings on their device from OnePlus, many of them unable or unwilling to verify the existence of cheating in their review unit. It is by no means their fault, but XDA is on the lookout for benchmark manipulation only because we found it in the past, and we thought it was best to inform our readers and potential phone buyers. |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Jun 21 2017, 04:57 AM) cant brain why OP wanna cheat to manipulate benchmarks, their phones are essentially the best in terms of software optimization.. But yeah they still did it anyway and got caught, yet again. Depend on how you look at it. It's not cheating if I want to benchmark my phone at peak performance. "Do NOT Trust OnePlus 5 Benchmarks in Reviews – How our Review Unit is Grossly Cheating at Benchmarks." https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5-be...eating-reviews/ Like PC, I also benchmark after I overclock it. For phone , I also close all application and restart before benchmark. So all is good. Xda is stupid website. This post has been edited by gogo2: Jun 21 2017, 06:46 AM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 21 2017, 08:34 AM) If from OP3/3T, better keep the phone, becoz still relevant. But if from OPO/OPT/OPX, then it's worth the upgrade ... |

QUOTE(zorbyss. @ Jun 21 2017, 01:16 AM) Still 1080p. Me sad. Everything else seems fine but nothing to be hyped about. Lol. When they joked about ditching the headphone jack, I almost went rage. Gotta wait for Pocketnow's audio review. QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jun 21 2017, 01:43 AM) Major dissapointment on the above factors. And they increased the price. Its not cheap now so it diminishes the reasons for getting an OPO5. |

I can totally accept the design. |
