OP isn't all that magical small startup company that never settles, that listens to its consumers, caters for tech enthusiasts and sells their devices cheap. Not anymore at least, with the OP5.

basically the tldr from the video is, the phone is fine. but the crazy amount of hype that OP generate for the OP5 is.. well, meh. hype it up as though something groundbreaking or industry changing or reinventing the tech industry but in reality.. well, meh..

I don't buy stuff because it gives me status. I buy stuff because it gives me much practical values and benefits.
But I do buy non-mainstream stuff so it makes me look "unique".
What should you be ashamed of? Buy counterfeits, download illegally. Yes, I used Spotify and YouTube for music exclusively. I watch movie on Netflix and shows on AOD, go to the theater for latest movies. I buy games on Steam and subscribe to Origin Access.

TBH, I don't find OnePlus 5's design "offensive", it still look sleek and great. Mostly importantly, it's minimal. Despite the slightly hike in price, you can't deny it's value there. It's one of the very few company that does near-stock android and have arguably the best OS-optimized phone in the industry.

Come back to the price though. If the OP5 launches at RM2.5k and above then S8 is really a way way way better choice currently at RM2,848.00 (at least in Malaysia). You get so much more by just topping up another RM300-500.

Yes, for me ios 10.3 on iphone 6 is definitely not as smooth and speedy as android 7.0 on note 5, especially a note 5 with bloatware disabled (I don't use most of the Samsung ecosystem apps).

Take a look at the OP3T.
Launched at RM2299, but you can pick one up for about RM1.9k IIRC. AP set was at 1.7K
So I'm expecting 128GB version is at RM2.2-2.3k. Pretty good price if you ask me.

With all due respect, this is probably the statement that I hate the most when it comes to smartphones.
Are Android phones suppose to be inferior junk while comparing to iPhone? What does that mean if an Android is to certain price then "might as well buy an iPhone?". Sigh. So if a smartphone exceeds the price of an iPhone then it's unworthy of its price? Only iPhones are worth that amount of price tag?

What if I say if iPhones are great but they're just ridiculously overpriced? Duh.
