QUOTE(aneip @ Nov 16 2018, 10:40 AM) Any of you guys know metal use as lorry chasis. Possible to drill? For screw to put camera. I think metal around 1cm.. Try cobalt. Buy branded one. I dont know why, but same material with different brand drill bit feel different. Maybe purities in the material. This post has been edited by odour_stop: Nov 16 2018, 12:42 PM |

QUOTE(bee88 @ Dec 23 2018, 10:32 PM) Hi. Wanna buy rotary hammer drill. Was thinking two models between Bosch gbh 2-24 (rm470) and Stanley shr263ka. (Rm300) Which one is better performance? QUOTE(CasualMax @ Dec 29 2018, 08:04 PM) Hey guys, similar with bae88 few comments back, I too considering to buy rotary hammer. Personal opinion, quality wise, those three on par.I am currently using Stanley impact hammer and takes me quite some time to drill in concrete. Previously I was thinking I do not need rotary hammer as I thought I just take my time with cheaper tools. But today I got fed up. So now I'm considering Bosch 2-24 & Makita 2630. Anyone has any recommendation/review? Saw good reviews on Makita and I'm currently leaning towards it. Power, obviously 26mm have higher maximum power than 24mm. Another factor to count in is their after sale services. |

QUOTE(easywin3 @ Jan 8 2019, 09:35 PM) Not sure how but can this be used as chisel ? Yes thats the rotary hammer chiselling drill bit. As per Yushin answer. You need to check back with your rotary machine whether it has the function or not.https://shopee.com.my/Rotary-Hammer-Chisel-...5993.1183656831 |

Makita tool box also nice. Because got many other brand can be stack over.
Last time got Milwaukee toolbox promotion at Tick Hong (aurous.com.my) Sungai Besi there. Quite a good offer. But when I compare the box with most uploaded on youtube. Got some different. But the free gift really nice. ![]() This post has been edited by odour_stop: Jan 16 2019, 05:50 PM |

QUOTE(imnotabot @ Feb 7 2019, 07:39 AM) Hi guys, I recently bought an apartment. I managed to drill some holes into the wall to install curtain rods using my dad's hammer drill (HD555 B&D), but it was extremely difficult for me (could be because it's my first time). I had to switch to a shorter screw than the one given so that I don't have to dig deep. Upon googling why, I'm pretty sure it's because all of my exterior walls are concrete. With a rotary u can do half a minute for a srew hole.I've read through a couple of posts in this thread and found out that it's better to get a rotary hammer for concrete. Do you think it's worth it to get a low/mid-tier rotary hammer for occasional use to drill holes? I still have like ~10 units of mounted downlight to install to the ceiling (not planning to have plasterboard ceiling in short-term). I managed to install one which took like 20 minutes of drilling lol. With budget of ~RM300, I'm thinking of getting either STEL503K (no drill bits) or SHR263KA-XD (with drill bits and box). |

QUOTE(MoneyMaker prince @ Jun 8 2019, 06:10 PM) Dear all master, Try to look for the arrow-head drill bit. But I suspect your bit is dull. You need to regularly spray water during drilling to prevent the bit edge getting dull.I try to drill a hole through tile using this bit, but it doesn't go in. What went wrong?? ![]() ![]() Can teach? I like to use hammer drill but thats risky. |

QUOTE(CasualMax @ Jul 10 2019, 02:45 PM) Guys, I have been making my own table and shoe cabinet and I'm laminating some of the panels. To cover the edge, I have been using ABS edge and use a router with trimming flush bit to trim them off. But I noticed that furniture bought elsewhere, their edging is curved/rounded but mine is just straightly flushed. I can file them but not as even and round compared to theirs. Any laminate/edging sifus here? I'm no carpenter neither cabinet maker but, have you tried round router bit? |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Aug 26 2019, 12:13 AM) thats why i dont use impact driver to drill in my wood screws. its just too brutal. but my workers just love them lol.. QUOTE(Zot @ Aug 26 2019, 09:38 AM) It may but it will damage screw head from time to time unless you remove the driver at perfect time. Wasn't impact driver meant to drive screw?Whereas impact wrench have higher torque. Would damage screw. |

As pic, just at thinking where the screw are.. Front and back are same.. Cover with that white sheet with staple only.. ![]() The best I can suggest, remove the white fabric. Usually the white fabric installed last. So maybe can see the fastener under the fabric. |
