The hitachi one looks like a true high pressure cleaner. I wonder how much ?
*
Doesn't look like available anywhere. Probably just Japan have it .

Can the worx work with a bucket of water? Without connect to tap.

Yes, it include a sucktion hose for you to dip the hose into water.
Well, at least the one I bought has it.
*
In this case, I think worx are more versatile. It can work like the hitachi.

Just deep the hose into the bucket. Or a container if mobilbility.

Some use I can think of:
1) Clean dirt on my mountain bike before put it into the car. Self bring 15 liter water bottle in the car.
2) Cheng beng wash grave... Hope my grandpa won't scold me lazy in the dream.  tongue.gif
3) wash car/wall without worry will accidentally strip the paint.

need to wait 1 month for sea shipping...
*
I use the garden 2L pressure pump for all this cleaning. The bad is it need to refill frequent since it only 2L. And keep pumping. I have the 20L container and bucket.

Worx smaller and easy to store for car.

After waiting for almost a month, finally the shipment arrives.
[attachmentid=8978549]

First to open will be box with the name worx. Hmm.. free gifts and the drill bits are on top.
Some cleaning power, collapsible water pail (this is interesting), towel etc
[attachmentid=8978553]

Finally, the worx hydroshot, the main body is on top of the box while accessories are at the bottom.
Comes with 18V 2Ah battery and a slow charger. To fully charge a 2AH battery need 5 hours. Ouch
[attachmentid=8978567]
[attachmentid=8978568]
[attachmentid=8978572]
[attachmentid=8978573]

The free soap dispenser
[attachmentid=8978582]
Assembled with long nozzle, looks like a rifle haha.
[attachmentid=8978587]

Other major items that comes with this shipment.  laugh.gif
[attachmentid=8978588]

Will update on how is the hydroshot in cleaning car this weekend.
Just now tried cleaning the algae stain in the drain, it works but have to move slower.

Those items are on discount during mid year sale. About RM 285 for all 3 items.  biggrin.gif

The digital power supply is to replace my 20 years old analog power supply I build during my uni days.
The sound meter coz I think the sound meter app in my phone is not accurate.
The wind meter coz I want to know my DC can suck or not. For RM60 its ok lar.

Dust collector = 79.5dba, wind speed 4600 fpm (min required is 4000 fpm)
[attachmentid=8979335][attachmentid=8979337]

Bandsaw = 69.2dba running idle. This one is quiet, usable if stay in condo.
[attachmentid=8979348]

Table saw = 95.9dba. This is really a screamer. Must wear ear protection when using.
[attachmentid=8979349]
*
Just put on your ear plug do. All the noise will be 0db.

I brought the all in 1 multimeter accept the wind speed function. Pretty handy.

Suggest you to modify to use the power adaptor instead of battery.

15min use following a 5hr charge is too long. sweat.gif

I plan to ship another 2 unit of 2AH battery and a quick charger later. Can't use 4AH batery coz it will make the sprayer feel heavier.
The quick charger will fully charge a 2AH batery in 1 hour.

My dust collector motor start making strange noise today so I think I need to order a blower from taobao soon.
RM500 dust collector really have some crap motor...
*
How heavy is the sprayer + battery?

Probably the bearing? Turning at high speed with bad aligment will most probably cause the bearing die 1st.

I dunno its bearing or not, seems like the motor and fan housing has build up a resonance when running.
I don't remember having that resonance last time.
At first I was thinking maybe its the dust buildup at the fan blade that cause it, but the sound still there after I clean up the blade.

How much would it costs to replace the bearing of a 1hp motor? I doubt that motor is actually 1hp, I check power consumption of the motor using power meter and it only shows 300w.

For the hydroshot weight, the combination I use this morning long nozzle weights 1.6kg including 2AH battery. I did not include the weight of the pipe that dips into the water pail.

[attachmentid=8983991]

This repairing got to DIY. Bearing doesn't cost much. Get the bearing no. and you can buy. Not more than RM30/pcs. (depending size and maker)

The motor with an empty run should run very less watt. Probably less than 1/2 the max motor watt. If it show near max watt, than something mechanical wrong that create resistance.

DIY the battery. smile.gif

Buying another 2 battery is killing with the price.

I open up the motor and discover the screw that locks the fan has gone loose. Tighten the fan screw and the motor runs quiet now.
Lucky no big repair required.
I have a feeling the srew will get loose again 6 months later...
[attachmentid=8984491]
For the hydroshot, I am thinking of making an adapter for makita or bosch battery. hmm...
*
The impeller vibration probably loose out the screw. No proper balancing.

You can use lucifah way to add loctite to the screw.

Or tap another screw hole 90deg to the existing tap hole.

Think is a 50gram. Loctite don't have 500g. Accept if for factory use come in tong.

There is wan similar to the loctite and same packaging. Forget the name. Cheaper.

OK I read the manuals. It seems like a wet/dry vacuum. So should be able to suck water. Also comes with blower function. Only Semi-auto filter cleaning and can't adjust the air flow/speed. Probably the first commercially available with a power tool auto start. Smaller container than usual dust extractor of similar function though...
*
It using dust bag? Usually dust bag can't suck water.

If suck water function have to remove the dust bag?

It is best if it come with some attachment to the tools.
